The Nero Stream XD2 is a four-channel Class D streaming amplifier built for listeners who want more power and a second speaker pair. A 192 kHz/24-bit DAC drives 75W x2 RMS at 8 ohms and 150W x2 RMS at 4 ohms, with 300W per channel peak output. Front-panel Speaker A and B buttons let you run two stereo pairs, so one amplifier can cover a living room and patio or a main zone and a second room. The free OSD Player App manages volume, sources, favorites, alarms and multi-room grouping, with AirPlay and DLNA support for Spotify, Amazon Music and other major services. Inputs include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI ARC for TV audio, optical, USB Type-C and RCA aux, plus a single RCA subwoofer output. The chassis is wall mountable, a remote control is included for app-free operation, and a dedicated RJ45 LAN port supports wired network installations. Add more Stream XD units to build a whole-house audio system.
Four channels of Class D amplification supply 75W x2 RMS into 8 ohms and 150W x2 RMS into 4 ohms, with 300W per channel peak. That is double the output of the Stream XD, giving the headroom to drive larger rooms, less efficient speakers or two speaker pairs at once without strain.
Front-panel A and B buttons run two stereo speaker pairs from one amplifier. Play both together for whole-floor coverage, or switch between a living room pair and a patio pair. This makes the XD2 a practical two-zone solution without adding a second amplifier or distribution system.
A premium 192 kHz/24-bit digital-to-analog converter preserves detail from streaming services, stored files and TV audio. A 95dB signal-to-noise ratio and 20Hz to 20kHz frequency response keep the noise floor low and the response even across the full audible range.
The free OSD Player App controls volume, sources, presets, favorites and alarms from a phone or tablet. Connect multiple Stream XD units around the house and sync rooms together or let each run independently with its own favorites. AirPlay and DLNA protocols support Spotify, Amazon Music and other major services.
Six input options cover TV audio through HDMI ARC or optical, stored music files through USB Type-C, a turntable or legacy component through RCA aux, plus Wi-Fi and wireless Bluetooth. A single RCA subwoofer output adds a powered sub. Wall mountable, remote included, RJ45 LAN port, 2-year warranty.
