The Nero XMAX2 is a reference-grade Class A/B stereo power amplifier built for two-channel and high-output home theater systems. A 2000VA toroidal transformer and 200,000uF audio-grade capacitor bank feed a fully discrete high-current output stage rated at 600W RMS per channel into 8 ohms and 1000W RMS per channel into 4 ohms, both channels driven at 1% THD, or 1800W bridged into 8 ohms for monoblock configurations. Peak output current reaches 22 amps per channel with 16 amps continuous, and the amplifier supports continuous 4-ohm operation. Connectivity covers balanced XLR, unbalanced RCA and a USB-C input with built-in DAC supporting PCM up to 32-bit/192kHz with no drivers required. Selectable 23dB or 29dB gain matches streaming preamps through reference balanced sources. A 12mm machined aluminum front panel carries an illuminated analog VU meter, and a full protection suite uses a resettable 20A breaker instead of replaceable fuses. Backed by a 5-year warranty.

Rated output is 600W RMS per channel into 8 ohms and 1000W RMS per channel into 4 ohms at 1% THD with both channels driven, or 550W and 880W respectively at 0.1% THD. Bridged mono operation delivers 1800W RMS into 8 ohms. These are honest both-channels figures, not single-channel measurements.
Five complementary NJW0281G/NJW0302G pairs per channel provide 22 amps peak and 16 amps continuous output current, with continuous 4-ohm operation supported. Damping factor exceeds 500 at 8 ohms for tight control over demanding low-impedance speakers and difficult crossover loads.
The OSD PowerCore 2000VA toroidal transformer works with a ReserveCap 200,000uF audio-grade capacitor bank to store the energy needed for dynamic peaks. The result is unwavering voltage under load, so transients arrive with full force instead of sagging as the power supply runs out of reserve.
Two balanced XLR and two unbalanced RCA inputs feed a rear-panel input selector, and a USB-C input with built-in DAC handles PCM up to 32-bit/192kHz as a driverless plug-and-play connection. Selectable 29dB or 23dB gain matches everything from streaming preamps to reference balanced sources.
Signal-to-noise ratio measures 117dB at rated power A-weighted, THD+N is 0.008% at 100W, and frequency response spans 10Hz to 50kHz within 0.5dB. A 12mm brushed anodized aluminum front panel carries an illuminated analog power meter. Protection covers DC, over-current, thermal and short circuit with a resettable 20A breaker.
