This item is horrible. We have owned this item for 4 months. The knives are all rusted and they are poor quality even if they are sharpened they are good for maybe one use. The black place holder for the knives is peeling and bubbling up. Do not purchase this item. It is not worth the money no matter how much, we paid about $50.

Do not buy these. They are what my generation calls "trash" Half my set rusted after one wash. I recommend splurging a little more on a good set.

I bought this knife set for Christmas to put under the tree to keep for my household. We opened them up and put them out at the beginning of January. Within the first two times of using them, two of the knives literally broke into two in my hand. If I was using them to cut something hard, I maybe would have understood. But, I was literally cutting soft cheese, which I could have done with a butter knife with ease. I actually didn't want to post a message, but contact Oster directly. I did that and never got a response, so I decided I should let everyone know what kind of product this is. They have also started to rust, which I see is a popular complaint on this site as well. I would imagine in the next few weeks, more than two of the knives will be broken. So, I recommend that you do not purchase these knives, even though they look nice, the quality is poor.

Don't waste your money...block doesn't swivel..paint chips off block just by taking it out the box..not stainless steel...blade is stainless with a crappy plastic handle snapped on it that feels as bad as it looks...water goes up in handles and leaks back out...don't waste your money on this set

These look great in the picture but once you get them in hand you quickly realize the handles are made from light cheap plastic or something and if you put them in the dishwasher they will start to rust!

This item doesn’t even deserve 1 star. The blades are dull. The knives rusted after the first wash. I wish I would’ve read the reviews before purchasing. DO NOT BUY!!

Horrible knife set...don't waste your money...they get rusty after washing...the scissors broke a couple weeks after I got this...the black paint peels off shortly after I got it and customer service for Oster doesn't care!! I couldn't give a NO star review or I would have!!!!

I ended up returning this set back to the store. The block was poorly cut with jagged edges and the handles on the knives felt very flimsy and cheaply made.
