Bought this for a family member that seems to have trouble with manual wine openers. It never works perfectly. It sometimes will destroy a real wooden cork.

Bought for my mom in law & on her first use the cork jammed inside the machine. Pretty dissatisfying, she hasn’t used it since.

Would not buy again

Used less than 5 times and no longer works. Corkscrew turns but no longer moves up and down, so I have to take a needlenose pliers to remove the cork. Too late to return, so I'm now out the $$
