OtterBox - Defender Series Pro XT Hard Shell for Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max - Baby Blue Clear

The case is a perfect fit. It’s different from the traditional defender because it doesn’t hold all the extra weight from the full rubber casing. It has very nice weight to it. Very strong and durable. The plastic back of the casing isn’t easy to scratch. It has a VERY nice grip to it. I have the silver 17 proMAX so the blue compliments it very well. Better than the black in my opinion.

Dropped iPhone from 5 stories, it bounced twice on concrete. Had an Otterbox case and the screen protector didn't even break!! Since then, Otterbox is the brand I always buy. I feel like I can do anything with confidence my $2000 phone is protected. The clear is really nice so I can put my own art on the phone and change it anytime I want.

I’ve used a lot of phone cases over the years, but the OtterBox Defender Series Pro XT is my favorite. I wanted something that would provide excellent protection without making my phone feel like a brick, and this case strikes that balance perfectly. The case is durable and gives me confidence that my phone is protected from everyday drops and bumps. Despite the level of protection, it isn’t overly bulky and still feels comfortable to hold and use throughout the day. The MagSafe compatibility works great, and I haven’t had any issues using chargers or accessories. I also like the clear back design because it lets the color of the phone show through while still providing the rugged protection OtterBox is known for. Overall, this case delivers exactly what I was looking for: strong protection, reliable MagSafe performance, and a clean design. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a premium protective case.

When I purchased my iPhone 16 pro max + got the “same” otterbox defender pro series case, it’s significantly different is less protective allow it’s the same series and name as this iPhone 17 pro max case So when I purchased my new iPhone 17 pro max (since I’ve been been purchasing the highest protection otterbox cases since I got the first iPhone back in 2012) I choose this highest protection quality case, and the protection it offers yet isn’t clunky, oversized, hefty, nor heavy or too large especially important for people that don’t have huge hands like me, is a night and day upgrade in quality and reliability to protective my iPhone that I’m so clumsy I drop ALL the time on every surface….. dependable and i recommend it if u want something to protect your iPhone from all damage no matter the surface or high hard or high it falls when dropped…. You don’t even need some screen protectors with this.

This case is excellent and well worth the cost! I feel so much safer with my phone in it. Also being that it’s clear, the color of my phone gets to be displayed with the added protection! Peace of mind at its finest.
