IT is flexible U can bend it to see into an object in stead of light up from above and hope it illuminates what U need. Three light setting from almost blinding, to soft white.

This is the second one of these I purchased after the first pleased us so much. The adjustable light settings and the moveable light arm are great for desk work as is the USB charging port.

This lamp is an excellent addition to my desktop computer station. The station is wide, with two monitors and a tower with external speakers. This lamp has a long bulb on a configurable arm that provides excellent lighting of my wide space. The white color of the emitted light allows accurate viewing of color on the desk - which is useful when comparing photos to what I see on my monitor screens. Also the light is not harsh, even on the highest setting. I recommend this lamp highly.
