Q: Can I use this on my Arlo pro 2 without the battery in the camera
A: if you can, I use it without the battery, but I'm thinking about putting the battery in, if the light goes out, the camera would still be activated

A: The length of the cord is 8 ft.
Q: Is the cord and the camera connection weather proof
A: Yes. We’ve been using it through thunderstorms without a problem.
A: I think the only batteries you want to use in these cameras are the ARLO branded rechargeable types. But if you must use a regular lithium, non-rechargeable battery, with 100% certainty you do not want to plug one of these power adapters into the camera on top of it. These are Charger-slash-Power Adapters.
Q: does the battery have to be recharged if you use the power cord
A: No it continues to keep it charged
A: Yes you will be able to use an extension cord.
