I ultimately purchased this system because the family member was already used to previous Panasonic phone menus and because of the good ratings given by online reviewers across the board. The recipient is 83 years old and has age related hearing and vision difficulties. We found the sound is clearer than the unit this one replaced, buttons are larger, screen is larger/brighter and phone still has the optional talking caller ID which recipient likes. We haven't needed to use the sound device on the handset that alters voices to higher or lower tones for the listener's preference as of yet. I matched another vendor for this two handset unit with answering machine and purchased a third coordinating handset (KX-TGA659T) from another source at Christmas. The additional handset was easy to program with this system. Very pleased with overall performance.

My husband and I love the phone because of it's ease of use. The buttons are large and the phone is comfortable to hold in your hand. Also the feature of the voice telling you who is calling before you see the caller ID. We feel it was a great buy.

This Panasonic cordless phone has its ups and downs. My biggest concern is being able to clearly hear & have others clearly hear me no matter how far I am away from the base. It started out great and then interference began. However, I figured out it was my equipment & land line connection that might be at fault so I switched up the equipment and the connection seems tighter. It is working so far. I do love the call blocking feature. The talking ID can be annoying. For now, I turned it off but I might turn it on again. I had to coordinate the # of rings that the answering machine picks up on with my phone providers voice mail. When you have toll saver on, the rings to pick up is 5 (one more than previous models). My phone company's is also 5 and so it defaulted to my phone company. I had my phone company change the rings to my voice mail activation to 7. Now it works fine and I have message backup if I am on the phone and do not want to take another incoming call.

Works well inside. Does not work outside my 500 sq ft home. I have aluminum siding - maybe that's the reason. Purchased hoping to use in our large yard - no such luck. Controls and menus are easy to use/navigate.

Clear reception, easy to read caller id easy to use!

I bought this set for my 83 year old father after owning another similar Panasonic phone. The biggest selling point of this phone, besides the great quality of the phone itself is the ability to block nuisance call numbers. I don't know of any other affordable landline phone brand that does that. My father is very happy with the phone, and so are we.

Easy to read caller id screen. Speaks name of caller. Speaker phone is a great feature as well as the backlit numbers. Stays charged for long conversations. Very pleased with this phone.

I am very happy with this phone. I ordered it on line after researching exactly what I wanted in a phone system. I have had Panasonic phones before and have not been disappointed. It's easy to use and setup. GREAT CHOICE.

I have tried other brands(to make sure I'm not missing something)but always take them back because they don't measure up to the Panasonic home phones.This phone I just purchased has some improvements which make it even better,such as the volume control on the side of the phone.For me,it will always be my first choice.

I just love this phone. It does a lot for me. It cuts off a lot of unwanted calls. The sound is very good and clear. It tells me who is calling so I can determine whether to answer or not.

Searched to replace a cordless landline with extension and answering machine - not easy to find because of cell phone popularity. Works great and sound quality is good.

Bought this for my Mother-In-Law. She loves being able to read the display and how the numbers light up. Also having the speaker. She praises the phone every time we talk to here. Great for the elderly.

Easy to program. Display is large as well as numbers on the phone.

This is the 2nd phone set like this I have owned. It is easy to set up and use. Lightening ate the first set so I immediately ordered this one to replace it.

I have an AT&T which is alot better but panasonic was a good name, but not anymore
