You can press the CALL BLOCK button when an incoming calls is received, when an incoming call is being recorded by the answering system and when talking on an outside call. You can raise the volume of the calls by pressing the Up arrow button while you are in a call. If you wish to change the volume of the ringer, please press the Menu button on a handset, followed by the # key and enter 160. After doing so, change the volume by pressing the Up and Down arrows and please make sure to press Save as well. - S
