About This Item
This is a brand new 1/64 scale diecast model of the Audi R8 LMS #21 driven by Richard Lyons and Masataka Yanagida for Team Hitotsuyama in the 2017 Super GT Series, made by Paragon. It comes in its brand new box and features a detailed exterior with true-to-scale accuracy, including real rubber tires. The officially licensed model has no opening parts and is displayed in a plastic showcase, retaining the manufacturer’s original unopened packaging. Made primarily of diecast metal with some plastic parts, it measures approximately 2.75 inches in length. Audi introduced the R8 LMS in 2015 as their GT3 class car, replacing the successful R8 LMS Ultra. Powered by a V10 engine, it has achieved P1 finishes at major endurance races including Nürburgring, Spa, Bathurst, Dubai, and Suzuka. Veteran Team Hitotsuyama has partnered with Audi in the Super GT GT300 series since 2011, and this model represents their iconic #21 car in the 2017 livery.
