This mount is pretty sturdy, however, i can't speak for the 100 lb. load limit. I have a 30+ lb. receiver mounted on it with no problem. Installation is super fast, but make sure your studs are dead center before drilling and installing. One particular thing I don't like is the lack of wire management through the decorative cover. And the idea of using a strap to secure your components, is kind of cheesy.

You can attatch this directly to the studs,this shelf says it will hold 50lbs. I have 40 lbs and it is doing just fine.Nice smooth gloss black finish,very sturdy steel construction,the arms telescope in and out for adjustment and have a locking screw on the bottom to secure arm from movement. This shelf is holding my yamaha 1070 just fine so i bought one for my center speaker as well.

This AV Adjustable Component shelf is strong and disappears underneath and behind Center Chanel Speaker. It is preferable to be attached to wall studs at 16" Centers. In my case that would not center the unit in the middle of the TV. So I had it cut into 2 pieces and mounted it an wall studs 32" apart. Not the recommended method of mounting, but works perfect for my 35 lb. 32" wide center channel speaker. It extends far enough away from the wall that the rear of the center channel speaker is even with the front of the TV. Perfect! Great solution for my needs.

This mount holds my Aperion Audio Verus center channel(39 pounds) perfectly on a drywall installation. Depending on speaker/component size it may be a bit too long. But no complaints from me.

Having moved, I needed a new over-TV wall mount for my 23 inch wide, 10 inch deep, 25 pound full range Focal Chora center speaker. I searched many places online to find a mount that was versatile enough and able to support a certain size and weight. This did the trick. It is well designed and made to affix to two studs 16 inches apart. Comes with very good instructions and mounting hardware. This mount is really designed to hold heavier components like receivers, DVD players, etc but works great for a bigger center monitor.

Very sturdy and holds my Yamaha receiver on the wall well.

Bought this shelf to use as a wallmount for my turntable. Worked out great! I have an older Rega P2, and just used a slab of leftover granite from a counter top manufacturer. The load rating is more than adequate for it!

I used it to mount a home theater receiver to my wall. It's doing its job (unobtrusively). My only wish was that the it provided a way to secure the legs. (The legs are not secured and could slide or swing up; the weight of the receiver keeps them in place.)

The reason for the 5 star rating is because it’s the only floating mount we could find that would fit our Yamaha RX V4 receiver.
