My adult brother with disabilities was able to operate this without help. A great travel gift for him to take a plane trip and be distracted by a movie. Battery lasted over 3 hours.

The unit is easy to use and the picture quality is good. The size is perfect to pack in your carry-on bag. You may have trouble hearing the audio if there is any background noise going on. This could be helped by using ear or head phones. On some DVD's, especially ones checked out from the library, it will pause for a long time or freeze completely depending on how bad the condition of the DVD, probably the fault of the media and not yhe player, but it gets frustrating.

Good portable DVD player. It was hard to find one with an acdc power cord at a reasonable price. So it doesn't need charged all the time.
