A: Depends on the brand of amp, you buy. For these, I'd definitely suggest a 4 or 5 channel Pioneer AMP. The sound filters in the Pioneer amps will make these sound good. I also recommend a Pioneer double din deck stereo, if your vehicle allows it.
Q: Do you need a Crossover for this to work properly?
A: There are crossovers included with the speaker package. The Pioneer TS-A1607C is a component car audio speaker package that includes an in-line crossover for the tweeter and for the mid-bass driver. This speaker package is designed to be used as a set and the included crossovers are designed to work together. This means there is a crossover included on each mid-bass driver and a separate crossover included in the wire that connects the mid-bass driver with each tweeter. Can this be used with a crossover in an amplifier or from an in-dash receiver? Yes, no worries.
