I own 3 copies for all 3 xbox's. Best game ever! Chomper is the best.

My 7 year old boy saw this at his friends house and asked for it. He loves it. It is kid appropriate (not that violent, more comical). The only down side is it requires Xbox Live subscription and is useless without it which I didn't know beforehand.

This game is really fun if you like shooter types of games but there are a few things that need to be known. The xbox 360 version does not support split screen only the xbox one version does. 2nd, this game is online only. If you don't have the internet or a xbox gold account you will NOT be able to play this game. Other then those two points the game is an excellent purchase at just 30 bucks.

Fun game set in the world established by the original mobile games. The mechanics are different as you are able to wander around a play area like any 3rd person shooter. Nicely rendered graphics and silliness make this game fun for all ages, haven't played all game modes yet, but will eventually.

I purchased this game for my 9-year-old daughter, and she loves it. As far as violence is concerned, it's plants and zombies... Nothing to get too worked up over in my opinion. Because this is an online multiplayer game, however, I was a little nervous about her interacting with others considering her age and gender. I was able to disable the microphone and turn down the volume so she could not hear what others were saying, so that seems to have worked out okay. The reason for the lower rating is that you must have a XBox Live GOLD account to play the game. My daughter had a free XBox Live Silver account, which was not adequate. After looking closer at the box, I did see is indicated (in a very small graphic) that a gold account was required. The requirement could have been denoted much more prominently on the case, though. As I mentioned before, it also took a little bit of effort on my part to ensure the online interaction was restricted to what I would have considered an age-appropriate setting. (With that being said, I still prefer being able to modify those settings myself as a parent, as opposed to some games which simply limit access under a certain age, whether I deem such restriction reasonable for my child or not.) Long story, short... My daughter really enjoys the game. Just be prepared to buy a XBox Live Gold account if you do not already have one (and do some work to make the online interactions age appropriate, if the purchase is for kids).

Funny game. It's PVZ buy in first person form. Like I said.. Only draw back is you play online for everything. But it's pretty fun other then that. I got it for my 7 year old son. He loves it.

Bought it for a 7 year old, He's been wanting it for a long time! Was thrilled with it! I just wish you didn't have to play it online only. That's why the 4 stars instead of 5

I bought this game for my 6 year old. Since I won't let him play any adult FPS (CoD, Battlefield), I thought this would be great FPS for him. I was right. He loves it. The graphics are great, the gameplay is great and its great for young kids. It takes PvZ to a whole new level. The only problem is the XBOX 360 version doesn't have any split screen coop.

Bought for my son. To me it's a shooter game for little kids. He likes playing this and it doesn't look violent.

This game is lots of fun for all family members. Online game that allows you to play against other players across the globe. Apart from the obvious "shooter" aspect the game is safe for most kids. Winning is called vanquishing others, not kills, and there is no blood. Funny characters and fun costumes.

This game is probably one of the funnest I have played this year.once you start playin you don't wanna stop. The game has a call of duty style feel to it in a third person game which is awesome since most people can pick it up and play right away without confusing button layouts. Sooo many characters and custom items to unlock through the sticker packs.PICK UP THIS GAME.

My son loves this game, which helps with chores and homework getting done since video game privileges aren't earned otherwise. One side note is this game requires Xbox live gold membership and has no solo player game modes.

This game is great for all ages, plays like multiplayer on Mass effect. But younger kids can play as the story involves plants and zombies(no gore or blood/excessive violence) like pervious games. Unlike previous games this one can only be played online and unfortunately no split screen on the Xbox 360 version, only on the Xbox one version. They should have made all features available on all game systems but the Xbox one being a new system got more features than the others. Overall the game is great for players that love multiplayer warfare or team up with a couple people and go against waves of different zombies while defending your garden.
