I purchased this for a Mac mini that only has one hdmi port. The Mac mini has two usb c/thunderbolt ports. I purchased a hub that used one of the usb c ports. The hub was basically being used for an additional hdmi port that could extend the display and an additional USB port. The hub took up unnecessary space and was awkward dangling form the back. So I bought this cable in order to get rid of that hub. It was important that the cable was capable of extending the display to a second monitor. It worked perfectly. The quality of the cable can be readily felt. Holding it in your hands, it feels hefty and slightly stiff; not flimsy at all. I got this on sale, but I would buy it at regular price. It looks like it will last a good long while. (The second monitor I am using is a 29" LG Ultrawide with 1080i so I cannot evaluate the quality of the 4K, bu the clarity and colors are as good as they were before with an HDMI to HDMI cable.)

I ordered this hoping it would be compatible with my 2018 model iPad Pro with USB-C. The packaging does not specifically mention compatibility with iPads, but I'm happy to report that it works perfectly! On top of that, it's actually a very sturdy and high-quality cable. PROS: - Works with new iPad Pro models. - Works with my MacBook Air and Windows laptop with USB-C. - Outputs 4K resolution and audio perfectly to my 4K UHD TV. - Long, 6-foot cable allows you to control your device at a distance from your projector/monitor. - The cable itself seems very durable and should last quite a while. CONS: - The HDMI side of the cable is on the bulky side, and some users might have difficulty fitting the connector into tight spaces on monitors or TVs. The HDMI connector is also quite wide and might block adjacent ports. OVERALL: The cable works perfectly for my use cases. Just be aware of the slightly bulky HDMI connector -- though I suspect you are going to find this on pretty much every USB to HDMI adapter. Recommended!

This cord is exceptionally made, built of aluminum and rubber materials that would rival many options in the space. It has a thick cord that is sometimes too stiff but that could change with more use after "break-in". It follows the design language of the major competitors with white and aluminum as their color palette. The anodized aluminum housing gives the cable sophisticated appearance and the construction is not in doubt. In short, you just plug this in to your device (if OS and device supports it), and plug the other side into a display and it works. This should get many looks as it performs on par with other cords I have and use daily just with a cheaper price point. This is a BUY.

I needed a cable for work to connect various devices to my projector. Most of those devices now have USB-C ports so my old VGA cables/adapters weren’t really cutting it anymore. Tested this out, on my laptop, iPad, and phone; worked without a hitch. The cable looks pretty durable, I’ve only had it a couple of weeks so far so kinda early to tell, but I expect it should last me for a while. Over all very happy with this. Only thing I wish is that maybe it would have come with a carrying bag/pouch. Maybe I just need to invest in a good cables storage.

Great cable to have on hand if you're like me and use an ultrabook that lacks an HDMI port. Cable is 6' long and handled whatever output I threw at it. I Hooked it up to both a 4k TV and a 2k monitor without issue. Construction is solid and nothing feels cheap. Supports video and audio... 'nuff said! Great cable!

Aluminum housing is durable and secure. The length of the cable allows front connection and then to the rear of your monitor. USB C Gen 3 rated video only ports. My Samsung spin had the correct connection and passed the video without any issues.

This cable works great for my Pixelbook. Love the laptop but it's small screen isn't geared for work related tasks. With this cable, I can easily hook up any monitor now. Also works great for streaming Netflix too. The cable seems pretty sturdy and well made. The HDMI connection is metal and fits into the HDMI slot pretty well. Overall, seems like a great cable and works great too.

Best Buy requested a review of this basic HDMI cord, so here it goes.....USB C to Apple Mac Pro, other end HDMI into HDMI port of TV. Wow! instant use of Apple TV, HBOMAX and Disney Plus apps on the tv without the need of fire stick or Roku. Also can convert any tv into a computer monitor with some display correction in the settings menu. Fantastic! It does exactly what you are planning to purchase it for.

Okay that is an exaggeration but this really made a huge difference for me while working from home. At the office I have dual monitors. This allowed me to connect my Lenovo Yoga laptop to a television and extend my screens. It's not perfect but it is an improvement over just one screen! My laptop doesn't have an HDMI port, so I was at my wits' end until I found this. We also use the cable to connect the laptop to the bigger television to watch movies, stream dance classes, yoga, etc. It's really made a big difference. So happy I found it.

I have a dual monitor setup for work from home, but my laptop only has a single HDMI port. Luckily, my laptop also comes with a thunderbolt USB C display port. This cable was able to connect my laptop to my 2nd monitor and increase my work capacity. $30 was a bit much, but this was the only one in store and I wanted the convenience of returning to the store if it didn't work with the laptop/2nd monitor.

We were new to the idea of watching something on the TV that was originating on the computer. We had heard of people doing that but had not been interested enough to find our how. We had no idea that it could be so simple. Buy this cable, connect the computer to the TV, open the proper HDMI connection through the TV remote, mirror the laptop image, and there is what we wanted on the big TV screen. We've repeated this action several times, Always works.

This cable is certainly worth the money. Very high quality and thick cable. Connectors are very solid, click in place and dont move at all when plugged in. Have had no issues on the multiple devices tested, from MacBook Pros, to Windows 10claptops, to Android devices, all connected flawlessly to multiple TVs and Monitors. Recommended!

Used on computer that only had USB C ports for display outputs. As the ports were labeled with DP for Displayport I wasn't 100% sure this was going to work but it did. So first use was from computer to monitor. Then changed the set up to include a third which was a Sony TV. But had to use a HDMI over CatX extender to achieve. And it worked there as well. Besides it being ugly it is a perfectly working adapter cable.

This cable is wonderful. I use it to connect my iPad and my Mac to TVs. It's great quality, and long enough for my needs.

I used a 24” tv as my 2nd monitor. And this cable allows me to connect my mac into it without having to disconnect my pc. I can toggle between both with an input button on the remote. Must restart the mac so it detects the cable connection. Also the 2nd screen will go black at times and will need to be reatarted. I thought it was because of the cable. But after some research i find that its a mac issue.

Expensive cable but quality is great. Works with my iPad Pro as I connect it to my Smart 47 inch TV. I use the Smart TV as a second screen for my iPad Pro. I am amazed at the high quality of resolution that I get. The letters of the text shown on the Smart TV have a very high resolution. Also, when I view You Tube, I have the ability to use the search function when doing inquires by using my iPad Pro’s keypad.

Brought this for work to connect my computer to my home tv. I was a little skeptical being that I have a Mac and it seems you have to buy all Apple products for them to work well with anything Apple. But I refused to pay almost $60-$150 for a cord or port from Apple. So I gave this a try and I have no problem or complaints. Reasonably priced and works well with my MacBook.

This cord has been a perfect solution to purchasing a new monitor. It allows me the capability to connect my television to my MacBook. I did not have to buy another monitor and saved a lot of money. The only reason that I did not give this cord a five is It does not charge the MacBook while it is connected to the TV /monitor. I have to unplug it to recharge my MacBook. Otherwise, I would give it five stars. I’m very satisfied with it, and highly recommend it.
