A: I've had a case liked this before. I never used a screen protector didn't have any problems. My wife has this particular case but she's very conservative (and a little clumsy apparently) because her screen protector got scratched, so I guess it depends on you.

Good protection for your phone
This case is well constructed and made of quality feeling leather. It looks sharp in a billfold kind of way. There is storage for credit cards and small receipts on the front cover. I bought this for my wife as our dog likes to chew on phones and the leather cover protects the screen as long as we get it away from him quickly. The reason for 4 out of 5 stars is the phone supports. If you drop your phone, while protected, the plastic corner tabs break off. We've lost the two at the bottom already (yes this phone gets dropped) and while the phone still stays in place it isn't as secure and makes the edge looks broken on close inspection.

Useful and added protection
This is a very handy folio case, because not only is it convenient for holding business and credit cards as well as other slim things, it also doubles as a little extra protection in case I drop the phone. The case is made of real leather so it will be durable and last a long time. I would recommend this case to anybody that doesn't mind the case taking up a little more space than jst the phone itself.

Works Alright
Since I replaced a iPhone 8 Plus with an iPhone XR, I needed a new case. I prefer the wallet case style (or "folio"), and this one one the very few BB had. It's functional and okay, but lacks 2 things: - any kind of clasp or magnetic closure - the card holder is vertical and there is only 1 slot (for 3 cards). My old case had 3 card slots, all horizontal, that used space far better. If you need a folio case it's fine but there are better.
