Because my Mac port sizes changed, I had to purchase this adapter to connect everything to my laptop from a mouse to external & jump drives. I use it every day so it is necessary for me. In truth, it is the second one I purchased because the first one pulled apart from the cord. However, due to the daily use, the fact that it lasted over five years, & the cost being affordable, it was OK. I noticed the cost went up but that’s to be expected. This brand works well & it’s less expensive than the Apple version. I think it’s a good idea to have two or three of them.

Just What I needed! -To get my download of of my i pad. I had far to much on my i pad running out of room so I BROUGHT THIS USB ADAPTER TO WORK WITH MY FLASH DRIVE I BOUGHT AT BEST BUY. I BUY ALL MY ELECTRONIC THINGS THERE . I LOVE THAT THEY GIVE ME PLENDY . : OF TIME TO PAY THEM OFF I HAVE BOUGHT 3 COMPUTERS ONE MAC AIR AND TWO I PAD PROS WHICH I JUST LOVE!!! I do ARt on them almost everyday!!!!!!!!

So maybe like a month ago I stopped playing games on on cloud, because I actually got myself a gaming system but for the for the months that I did use it, it was really great. I would be able to connect to my phone and play games on the video GeForce now and this will be the way that I would use to connect my keyboard and mouse.

I used this adapter to provide storge for backup of my Galaxy tablet. I was able to use a standard USB thumb drive for backup. The cable provides strain relief, so there was less stress on the USB C port on the tablet. It works great.

It’s an adapter. Needed this adapter to use my USB Pen drive on my macbook pro, works flawlessly! It also allows for very fast downloads. Excellent purchase!! It work as well as the Apple ones.

Very useful! Most of my cords are still USB A and this serves its great purpose to connect to my laptop having usb C ports only. I had used and purchased it for couple of months now and still durable!

Great alternative to the OEM option. Looks similar, works without issues. Needed to transfer something from my external HD and picked up this adapter same day. Definitely recommended.

Working very well with Macbook Pro. No installation is required just detect it on the plugin.

I think this type of cable is very good, to be able to use it with devices that are not compatible with usb-c

For $10 it was everything my install guy needed to calibrate my DIRAC surround sound system from his laptop

So frustrating that I even had to buy this doodad. My laptop didn't have a flippin USB connection just the USB-C. It got the job done... just don't zip it up in your bag and lose it. js

Thank God for this simple cable adapter! I recently purchased an Apple USB SuperDrive DVD/CD but would not work with my new 24" iMac. Since my iMac has no USB ports, I plugged it into each of 2 adapters (different brands) that I already was using with the iMac...would not work, no functions & did not recognize hardware. I brought it into the Riverbank BEST BUY & the Geek squad was extremely helpful! I explained my situation, he asked for my permission to plug my Apple USB SuperDrive into some equipment there. He had no luck until he tried his own adapter. Amazingly it worked! Even better BB had it in stock. It is the Platinum USB-C to USB adapter. Definitely buy this if you are having any issues with an Apple USB SuperDrive!

I got this cable for my daughter's phone. She has not complained about it at all so I know its working well. I actually asked her about it and just like I thought she said it works good. I should start learning more technology. A lot of the things I buy are for my kids. They understand all this technology much better than I do. I actually think most people understand all this stuff better than I do. Good product.

I prefer this adapter to the Apple one for 2 reasons. It is $10 less and the wire is covered in braided cloth. Since the adapters are identical in functionality and asthetics , why pay $10 more? I find that the braided cloth stay clean longer than the white plastic of the Apple adapter.

Brilliant product & very well made! If you have a new MacBook Pro, this is the cable for it. I just picked up a new 16” MacBook Pro, and bought 2 cables for it at an Apple Store, but they’re expensive and semi-cheep in construction quality (I’m returning them tomorrow), but these come with woven cables and seem like first quality products! These are the way to go in my humble opinion…
