Bought and cloned on September 9th. Came home today to use it and was greeted with Non system disk. Tried hooking it up to multiple other computers to try and recover the data. Kept giving hardware errors or timing out. I'm not going to bother with the warranty and will go with a different brand.

PNY-CS900 500GB INTERNAL SSD SATA. This SSD Card works only on some computers, with most others it does not work regardless now or old lap tops/ pcs. I could not find any way to make it compatiable to non working Laptops/ Pcs.

I was looking for more space for my laptop and purchased this drive just to find out it didn’t match my laptop. I was so upset that the worker just wanted to make a sale and didn’t even check to make sure it was the correct drive for my laptop, definitely gave me a negative outlook of best buy.

the representative that helped me in the store did not understand what I needed. this was purchased in error.

I purchased this drive and installed windows 10. It seemed to be fine for a while and then it just stopped working and would not boot. I replaced the cable and attempted to initialize the disk and that's as far as it gets. This drive failed at just over a month. I am currently out of the window to return it, so I'm stuck with this garbage.

I brought in my laptop for a conversion from windows 7 to 10 keep the programs but I must buy a new battery. Days later I was called to pick up my laptop. When I went I was told I need to buy a new hard drive which I did and took the laptop home. Three days later when I tried to turn the laptop on it would not initiate. I brought the Laptop back and was told that I need to buy a new laptop. They threw away my useless laptop that had been working before being "fixed" by Geek Squad.

Worst customer service, no human asking the phone having to wait 5 - 10 mins talking to machine been stressful.

PNY SSD installed just fine. After two hours in died.

The laptop stopped loading Windows after 2 weeks, and best buy declined to look into the issue

Plugged it into my PC and didn't work. Also plugged it into a separate PC and it still didn't work.

Didn’t work on my pc, it broke the motherboard apparently.

Not recommended, it freezes all the time, I have to reboot and lot all the work done.

this pny is poor and no good at all. any one not to buy one at all.

I took my computer to the Geek Squad for repair in Nov. It came back quickly, fixed but not what I took it in for. I made an appointment to have a Geek come to the house. He cancelled. Tow weeks later it is still not fixed.

This is my 2nd PNY SSD that died on me a little of a year of owning. Did nothing abnormal. Went to power up and got the blue screen of death then the "Reboot and Select proper Boot device" error. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE PNY BRAND! Hopefully I can recover what was lost but last time I was unable to so I'm not expecting much.

I bought this drive for my son to install in his brand new Dell PC as expended storage for backups and large games. It failed within a year and was full of stuff he didn't want to lose. Ne er again.
