Q: Why is it only 120GB when you plug the drive in?

A: The reason has to do with math and marketing. Humans think about numbers in base 10, the decimal numeral system. Computers, on the other hand, think in base 2, the binary numeral system. Herein lies the root of the issue. The “brilliant” marketing people at data storage companies decided early on that all their products should be marketed in the decimal system. Therefore, one megabyte on their products is equal to 1,000,000 bytes, and one gigabyte is equal to 1,000,000,000 bytes. To a computer, a megabyte is 1,048,576 bytes and a gigabyte is 1,073,741,824 bytes. For each gigabyte advertised in base 10, you’re actually receiving about 70 megabytes less than a gigabyte in base 2. Imagine if they pulled that with things like gasoline...people would be livid. Hope that explains it...

Q: PC and Mac compatible back and forth?

A: Yes it comes in exfat format.

Q: 1-reviews claim has a red led that lights up during activity- mine doesn't. 2-it was supposed to be formated as exFat...mine is Fat 32

A: Try reformatting it and see if that doesn't take care of it. If you can save files to the flash drive and SEE the files on the drive, then I wouldn't worry about the light. That said, if you're unhappy with it, I believe you can just return it or trade at BB for a new one. All these flash drives unless otherwise marked are going to be formatted for Windows. But its easy to reformat to whatever you need...

Q: Will this product work with android phones to save pictures Samsung 8+, this is not an I phone.

A: Yes, the USB will work with Android phones to save pictures.

Q: What are the real time data transfer numbers...example 90 mbps

A: In some cases it depends on you PC's Front bus speed and how many things you have going on at one time, processor, type of data your transferring (I.E Compressed files) and how much separate data your trying to transfer at one time and because of your pc's settings. And of course the quality/brand of your USB device! To speed up your USB transfer follow these directions: Do a Windows Search for Device Manager, and open it. Expand the Disk Drives tree and locate the USB drive you’d like to improve (it must be plugged in to the PC). Double-click the drive’s icon and, in the window that appears, find the Policies tab. Click the “Better performance” button and then, underneath, check the “Enable write caching on the device” checkbox (some [Cheaper] devices don’t support this, however). Then click OK. The Universal Serial Bus should be able to transfer exactly 3.515625 gigabytes in exactly one minute (at a constant maximum theoretical speed). So yeah, the USB is by no means maxed out, but that is because the flash memory used in USB flash drives is not the fastest stuff on the planet :) Like I said, it depends on the manufacturer. To get a really fast USB drive that actually uses most or all of the theoretical 480mbps transfer speed, you'd be paying SIGNIFICANTLY more, for higher quality flash memory. I hope I've Helped:-)

Q: Is this a good usb drive to download music and transfer it to ps4 , if the answer is no which is a proper flash drive to do so ?

A: Yep it's good. Ps4 file format is exFAT or FAT32. Your choice. It can run USB 3.0 or USB 3.1

Q: Will this work on my iPhone 5?

A: I know this will not work on your iPhone this is specifically for a USB port on either a desktop computer or a laptop computer. You can also use this on a USB port in a car if you were to load it with music but nothing to do with the iPhone 5.
