The Pokémon TCG: First Partner Illustration Collection – Series 2 is a solid addition for collectors, even if it doesn't quite live up to the first series. It includes three randomly selected First Partner promo cards, two booster packs, and a sticker sheet. While the booster packs are a nice bonus, the real reason to buy this collection is the exclusive promo cards. The artwork on the promos is excellent and looks fantastic in a binder or display. The illustrations give the starter Pokémon plenty of personality, making them the standout feature of the product. If you enjoy collecting unique promo cards, these alone make the collection worthwhile. Compared to Series 1, however, Series 2 doesn't feel quite as exciting. The selection of Pokémon and overall presentation don't have the same impact, and the randomized promo pack means you may not get the starters you're hoping for. The included booster packs also don't add a lot of value unless you're lucky enough to pull something special. Overall, Series 2 may not be as strong as the original release, but it's still an enjoyable product for Pokémon collectors. The promo cards are the clear highlight and are worth picking up if you're a fan of Pokémon artwork or want to continue building the First Partner collection.

This was a fun product to add to our collection. My boyfriend especially liked the oversized illustration card, which makes it stand out from a typical Pokémon product. Everything arrived sealed and in perfect condition, and the included packs added to the excitement. A great option for collectors looking for something a little different.

Amazing to add to the collection. BestBuy has the best prices for these products. they can be so hard to find. I'm so happy my BestBuy limits these purchases to 1 per person, so everyone gets a chance to get it at msrp rather than paying people the price from the people who buy up all the product.

Pokemon is always difficult to acquire. Best Buy has the best prices and methods of organizing the shoppers. More fair than most other stores and competitively priced. 1st partner is a great buy for the arts. Great small purchase for anyone looking to start a small collection

Got a box of first partner 2 on release day and I ended up pulling the gen 5 starters, exactly the ones I wanted! You’ll have to wait in a decent line at most locations but for MSRP it’s worth it if you have the time

Being able to have full arts of starter pokemon is one of the best idea the company has done. Can't wait for more of these to come out!

I was about 40th in line for this product which is a Pokemon specialty box that was released upon store opening. Despite the long line the process was not only smooth but there was surprisingly more than enough product for everyone! And to top it all off I pulled the chase cards from this product! A+ all around!

The product was well received by nephews and added to our growing collection. Purchased in store the day of the drop for less than 20.00. I would never pay more than 25.00 for this product...ever.

Best Buy is by far the most customer focused retailer of Pokemon. They sell at MSRP, set buy limits and issue invites. I could not have gotten this without their fair customer policies.
