We mounted these on our patio which is covered. These speakers are a good value for the money. They're well built and have good sound. The bracket is easily adjusted and features large recessed knobs that allow the incremental adjustment of the bracket. Additionally there are grooves for each movement so once the bracket is set it's not moving. Speaker wire can be installed with or without banana clips. The speakers have a good range of highs and lows.

overall, these speakers are great for the price. they lack a little bass, but overall sound very good. I compared them to the boston acoustic speakers as well as the bose outdoor speakers. I thought they sounded the best and I would still agree with that statement. these are cheaper than the Bose and the same price as the boston acoustic speakers. Good sound, good quality, & good looking.

My home theater runs on all Polk speakers and I am very satisfied with their quality. My issue with these outdoor speakers is they lack bass. I didn't do a lot of research because I got a great deal on an open box. They have quality sound but if I was really serious about a "rockin" outdoor system, I would look at their mid price or high end offerings.

The speakers were great, once I was able to hook them up, great sound and good range, however, you need a good reciever to get everthing preformance wise out of the speakers.

These Polk speakers replaces my 7 year old speakers which the terminals began to corode. The sound from these speakers is actually quite nice (connected to a Yamaha receiver) and does the job. The style and quality is what sold me (plus Polk is known for speakers).

Got these speakers on sale and was pleasantly surprised at the performance. I use these outside and with several hundred watts, they are very clear with no distortion. Broad frequency range with low bass and high notes very clear sounds!

I bought these for use by my outdoor hot tub. I knew that they wouldn't have great sound so I got what I expected. They sound great over the sound of the hot tub jets.

Bought these speakers for $99 on sale to use at hot tub area. They look and sound great. Easy to install and good build quality. Well worth the money.

The speakers are in use on deck to watch tv while in hot tub. Sound is good.

These are for outdoor and the sound is not as good as I was looking for but they are fine, I will not change them because the price was great. I am happy with them.

I go to Best Buy today to purchase new speakers for the patio after looking online and selecting some nice Polk outdoor speakers that were on sale. I get to section of the store where they are located and discover that none of the outdoor speakers are hooked up for listening. I ask the sales associate if he can take these over to a receiver and hook them up so I can listen to them before making my purchase. He tells me no, there is no systems available that he can hook these speakers up to. I say, "what? It would you all of less than one minute to plug speaker wires into these so that I could hear them..." He tells me they aren't allowed to do that. And you wonder why Best Buys business is struggling? I bought them anyway because of the great price and quality. Thankfully, they sound great! Hook up ALL of the speakers you sell, Best Buy. We consumers need to hear them before we buy them!

I initially went into BB to look at some yamaha's, and I didn't really like the sound of them. I saw the display of these polks, they were not connected, so I disconnected the yamaha's and connected the polks. I have to say I like them. I made the purchase, came home, installed them for backyard pleasure. It's exactly what I needed. The bass might be a little on the low side, but that can be fixed via bass adjustment. I would definitely recommend this product to fiends and family.

You will not be disappointed with the sound quality. Very good low end punch for an outdoor speaker. Mounting bracket design makes the installation trouble free. The speaker build is solid. A good buy

I've only used the speakers on a few occasions since I just bought them but so far so good.
