The product is dependable and has not failed me yet. Customer satisfaction really boils down to how the air vents on your dash are designed more than the product itself. I drive a 2007 Honda Civic EX and this might apply to other Hondas as well but for most of us who are right-handed the ideal vent to put it in is to the left of the radio. However, this would result in the phone being in front of the wiper blade controls, partially blocking them during use. Just be aware and place the mount high on the vent to reduce interference.

I use this in my Infiniti for either my phone or Itouch music perfect for holding either as I have a Note 10 plus so I definitely recommend

This is a waste. It's okay but it falls all the time and drops my phone when driving. It's not good when you are using your phone as a gps and your driving and next thing you know your phone has fallen at the worst moment.

Purchased the pop socket vent phone holder to use on a road trip. The grip that grabs on to the vents stretched out and wouldn't hold after about a week and a half causing the holder and phone to fall off the vent every 10 to 20 minutes. Then about 2 weeks in when removing from a thicker vent the rubber clamp section pulled away from it's internal metal parts/pop socket holder so now it's completely broken. Even when it was intact and gripped the phone would spin in the holder because my pop socket was perfectly balanced on my phones center mass / tipping point.

Thank you for your review, David! We are sorry that your PopMount broke so soon, and for the inconvenience, this may have caused you. That should not happen. Please return it to BestBuy or contact us at cs@popsockets.com. We'll be happy to assist.

Its pretty convienent when using my phone when I need to use it for GPS or go through my music. The only thing i do have a problem with this is the price and how you have to position your popsocket on your phone. Pretty much your phone will start to tilt if your popsocket is lower on your phone. I dont think its a big deal if its higher but thats just something to take into account. Also the fact that if you have your heat on itll pretty much heat up your phone since you have to have it in front of your vent. For what its worth, its cheaper than some and less of a hassel to install and pretty nice to use if you have a popsocket.

I purchased this type of holder for my pop socket/phone to avoid a large mount that would obstruct my view while driving. This vent mount is small, sturdy, and easy to assemble into any car vent. You just have to push it in securely all the way, and it does a great job holding my phone up. Yes the phone may tilt a bit while making same turns but that’s expected. I would say it depends on the type of driver your are. If you put it on correctly, it will hold up well for sure!

I didn’t expect this to be so sturdy but it is. Easily Inserted into car vent. Holds phone in place easily.

I bought this because I have a popsocket on the back of my phone and I hate having to take off my entire case for my current phone mount (if I have the popsocket on my case while trying to mount it on my current car mount it makes the phone fall out of the mount because it's too bulky!) so this has been great so far because I just pop open my popsocket and stick it right on! I have the iphone 11 pro max so I was afraid the weight of the phone wasn't going to be supported but so far this has kept up with the weight.

I've used this for years - the only reason I bought a new one is because I forgot the old one in a rental. Obviously, you need a Popsocket, but I like it more than any of the other Popsocket phone holders for cars. It's super easy to just pop it on the vent and then pop your phone in.

The prongs that attach this to a vent are tight, so they're secure... but also kind of a pain to get attached in the first place, and a pain to move if you didn't pick just the right spot. Also, the bit that holds the PopSocket on your phone is a couple of millimeters too wide, so if you make a turn that's just a touch too quick, your phone flops over. Kind of a pain. Ultimately I'll stick with it since it's the least obnoxious phone holder I've found, size-wise, but the thing with the floppy phone does make me question if I'd buy this again.

So far this works great! I like that it is black and discreet and therefore blends in with my interior. I can easily remove my phone and no one really knows I have been using a phone in my car at all (cuts down on chances of theft). Have used other mounts and sometimes the Popsocket gets in the way... so this ended up being perfect. I have already recommended it to folks I know.

I have this version and the old version. Seems like personal preference or whatever fits your phone situation. I have a popsocket built in otterbox case and the original version worked just fine. On some of the newer cases however, it seemed like this new style would fit better and keep the phone upright as it would on the old one on other phones. Mine did not do this. Mine works on both but I felt like this new one didn't quite hold on well to the vents as the old one. Still a solid pick and is more compatible with some newer accessories.

Great product from when I was using it. It does fall sometimes if your phone is heavy, I had the 11 pro max with a heavy case and it held most of the time with a little push after latching your phone on it. I used it until I upgraded phones and used a MagSafe case

loving it .. it stays secured in unlike others that fall out of vent. My only issue is I will it did move up and down but that is okay .. I am very happy with this product
I Love this! You do NEED A PopSocket on your phone prior to use this. It is very useful. I am not losing my phone in the car, great for Google Maps, and it is easier to play my music in my car. I like this for the air vent rather than having it stick onto my dashboard.
