Happy to be able to find this charging dock for my Megaboom 3; it is soooo much easier than plugging the USB cable in under the speaker’s “weather door!”

I got this charging dock and very easy to use. I put my speaker on it and it starts charging fast.

Unfortunately, The megaboom 3 has a slight design flaw when it comes to charging (in order to make it as waterproof as possible). I've broken a few cables because of how difficult it can be to charge. Which has led to me buying more cables specific to Ultimate Ears as other Micro USB cables cannot reach the charging port. But now that I have this charging pad everything is so much easier by just placing the speaker on an easily fitting surface!!

UGH! This company! Their speakers are top notch in build, sound and FUN. EXCEPT...for this: Ultimate Ears (UE) is trying to grabe all the money out of your pocket. UE spent so much time and money to build a wireless charging system that only works with their hardware. Every company out there is building hardware that charges with your run-of-the-mill Qi wireless charger (even APPLE gave into Qi charging)...but not Ultimate Ears! Their charger is SPECIAL and ONLY works with their speakers. Fine. I accepted that because I like their speakers. So I bought one and then I bought a Micro-USB - I know! Micro-USB STILL and not USB-C - I bought this Belkin Micro-USB cable because I needed some length and – it turns out – that the cable doesn't even fit into the Ultimate Ears little port space...I don't even know what to call it! So I can only use the 6-inch charging cable that came with my speaker...cause other cables don’t fit in their dumb, little ports! Oh my! I'm finished with this company! Dear Ultimate Ears: you blew it. Instead of spending so much time and money into building an ecosystem that won't work outside your company, you ought to have embraced wireless Qi charging and USB-C connections like, well, like the REST of technology...not good. So, like, no...I'm not happy with this purchase and I'm gonna find some other speakers to enjoy.

This charging dock is a nice addition for music enthusiasts. Charging your speaker is seamless; just place your speaker on the dock and voila, it starts powering up! The ability to play music while it's charging is really cool, especially when using Alexa. Its sleek design blends easily into any home decor. My only wish is that it came with a feature for on-the-go charging, but for in-house use, it's incredibly convenient. Solid 4 out of 5 stars for this one!

It is a little pricy but it works amazing and is totally worth buying to keep your speaker in and charged at all times! Can be a pain to line up directly but has a nice illuminating light when placed properly.

This is way better than charging with the cable. Given, you still have to use the cable to power the dock but with it you can just slap the speaker on top and let it charge and even continue listening to music. I love it.

I kept forgetting to charge my boom 3 & would get low battery during usage. This dock has made it very convenient to charge while it is not in use. I also like the fact that it helps preserve the plug-in charge port. I've experienced many tech gadgets that failed prematurely due to charge port breaking or losing connection to charge cable. Pros: Small & convenient. Cons: 1) Doesn't come with a charge cable. You will need to use the cable that was provided with the original EU speaker. 2) Price is pretty expensive for a dock.

I know the $40 price tag may seem steep, but this is one of the most convenient accessories for any product I own. I have had the speaker and this charging base for 2 weeks and I haven't worried about battery once. The pure convenience of having the speaker ready to go without having to constantly plug it in is great, especially because the dock fits right where I usually play the speaker from. Great product I highly recommend.

Pick one of these up for your speakers and witness how handy they are to just place your speaker on top and quickly access charging; especially useful when your speakers go red (battery low) and you need to continue the music without interruption. Without the pad, you'll have to open the bottom of the speaker, plug in the cable and place the speaker on its' side.

UE mega boom sits perfectly on charging stand. Makes charging convenient. Do you need this accessory? Not at all. Is it handy? Very. It allows even those like myself to never miss a charge. Last thing anyone wants to do is fiddle around with a charger cable after a day of use. With this charging pedestal, the UE speaker is always ready for the next adventure.

It is great to charge my speaker without the need to plug a cable in. Hopefully, it will help my speaker to last longer since the charging input of my last speaker from a different brand broke. The only down is that there is no cable, so you have to use the one that was given with the speaker or buy another.

Must have if you have the Megablast. Much easier charging and for keeping the speaker charge while using it in the house for days on end. Keep in mind if you are going back out in the wilds to swap back out the bottom ring to make you speaker weather proof again.

This is one clever and handy device. Easy to put the boom on it when not in use and the boom is always charged. No longer searching for the charge cord.

I really like that I can keep my ultimate ears charged at all times but when turning off unit comes turning back on by itself all the time.

I bought this so I wouldn't have to plug in and unplug the charger which completely eliminates the chance of loss charger port. Also keeps the integrity of waterproof system. Works perfect. Highly recommended!

The power up charging dock pairs perfectly with my BOOM 3 portable Bluetooth speaker. The dock is the same diameter as the speaker and is an easy way to charge my speaker while using it.

Excellent chager for selected ue boom speakers. All you have to do is to dock it and it charges right away. And you can use it as a cradle or base for your ue boom speaker.

I felt the practicality of this product was not really there but it is actually quit useful for just grab and go. No complaints. Works with both boom and blast series, except the wonderboom.
