Nice selection of songs, background animations and venues are very very cool. The way the story mode/band challenge plays out is great and never seems repetitive

I purchased the pre-owned version of the game since the new version is no longer available. It plays fantastic, I never realized how much i missed it.

Rock Band 2 was an improvement of the first game. I wish I could say that Rock Band 3 is constantly the same, but it's not. The graphics are great and menus are easy to navigate. Fans will be pleased to know that songs from previous installments such as Learn to Fly, Carry on Wayword Son, American Idiot, and Free Fallin' are playable. And the game contains new songs that fans will surely welcome. There aren't many solos much funner to play than the final one from Free Bird. And now the setbacks. The possibility of these shouldn't be a surprise. EA is constantly doing the same to their Madden franchise. I have to spend time messing with the calibration system whenever I play RB3 and EA still hasn't released an update for this. The setlist is also terrible. EA keeps adding modern day artist that are so bad that even God's going "Why the f**k did I create mankind?". And the instruments audio drops, but not often. No matter what, Rock Band 3 should be under someone's Christams tree or a gift of any kind.

Overall I like the game. It has many songs and tons of DLC. I like how you can progress by just playing quickplay. I wish you could have multiples of the same instrument though...
