As a guide 2 tablespoons or 1 ounce of dry water beads will yield about 12 cups of hydrated crystals. Results may vary. Prepare a container suitable to hold desired amount of hydrated beads and carefully add 12 cups of distilled water to each 2 tablespoons or 1 ounce of dry water beads. Do not fully saturate. Allow up to 12 hours to fully hydrate. The crystals will slowly swell as they absorb water. Over time as the beads release their humidity, they will shrink. You can re-charge them by adding more distilled water as needed. A perfect way to bring in additional moisture to your cigars!
