A: Hi Harry, thanks for your patience. I checked with our lead engineer and he said the step up height is 7 inches off of the floor in the lowest position. If you have the pedals even in height then you are 15 inches off of the floor. I hope that helps.
Q: Is it more of a stair stepper than an elliptical?
A: It’s really a combination of both. It gives you the workout & motion of a stepper with the movement of an elliptical as well. I love mine, my wife not so much because of her height, there’s no adjustment for any of the movement & the up & down is too long of a stride for her.
Q: What tools do you need to assemble this machine?
A: I just assembled today. Simple but time consuming. It comes with 2 hex keys. Otherwise Phillips head screw driver and adjustable wrench. To speed things up significantly i used a 13 mm socket wrench instead of the adjustable wrench. I wish I had some hex bits to use with my screwdriver or power driver, using the hex keys takes forever. There is one step where you need a screwdriver with a narrow shaft to fit in some narrow holes
Q: does this come with the tablet holder? +
A: The optional tablet holder will hold your tablet securely in place and enable you to use your tablet while you exercise. The optional tablet holder is designed for use with most full-size tablets.
A: i assembled myself and find it to be silent.
Q: What is the width, and length? And is it portable?
A: Product FootPrint Dimensions are: 52" H x 29.25" W x 66.7" D and weighs 225 pounds in the box. I would not call it portable.
Q: Doss this machine have to be plugged in to electricity?
A: Only to create resistance & power the screen, nothing stops it from being used without power other than there’s only the base resistance
A: This unit comes with a built in touch screen. You can also add your own device to connect with the iFit app if you choose.
