Seeing the 2 negative reviews on this workout bench compels me to write a review, since I consider this to be 5 stars. The bench is very solid, quite heavy, and it doesn't creak / lean at all when in use. Installation wasn't the easiest, and having 2 people was a must. The nuts they provide are self-locking, so require quite a bit more torque than usual, but I don't question they're going to hold during any abuse I put this through. The final installation step is a bit odd where you are required to torque the bolt everything rotates on - too loose and everything will wobble, too tight and everything is stiff. If you mess up that step, it will easily be a 1 star bench. Read the instructions and follow that step! My advice is torque it until it's slightly too stiff and then ease up (that's what I did and I'm happy). The foam / cushion on top is stiff yet comfortable to use, with just the right amount of give. Adjustments are easily done with oversized knobs that you'll see in any gym setting, nothing cheap about them. Overall it's a nice addition to my home gym and I expect to get a ton of use out of it. Photos highlight some of the positions. Placement was moved for better photo taking, which the wheels make super easy to do.

The Proform bench performed nicely for around 8 months. At around 8 months (4 or 5 months of regular use) the welds that hold the stabilizing bar to the handle sheered clean off. Proform offers a 90 day warranty (they do offer an extended paid warranty through them directly) and Best Buy does not offer any extended warranties on these products. If you're looking for a bench that will perform well for less than a year, this is the bench for you. If you're looking for something that will last for longer than a year, steer clear of this product.

Oh no! We are sorry this bench had this unusual malfunction and that it happened after the regular manufacturer warranty had expired.

Very good bench for the price. Stable. It does decline, and includes many incline options. Other reviews speak of the "one bolt that rules them all." This is true, but easy to adjust. I have had no issues once I found the sweet spot. Just tighten or loosen as desired. I wish it had an option to add the leg stabilizer at the end to help me get back up, and to not slide down the bench when in decline. We make it work though.

I was nervous because of the other reviews but this is easily one of the best pieces of equipment I've purchased. Took my time putting it together as one review suggested. Everything hinges on 1 bolt that just needs to be tightened if the back starts to wobble at all. Very simple to use and very sturdy. This is top tier quality at a medium to low tier price.

The back cushion is a bit wider than I’d like(but I’m a small framed guy) The back can also seem a bit unstable due to the pin’s short length. Other than that small detail which really is super minor and doesn’t move much if you assemble it properly using the right tools and torque. This is a great bench for the cost. I was looking at 1,300-1,600 benches and compared to those this is definitely worth it.

Well made bench overall, but the back is a little wobbly.

Originally was happy with the purchase. I’ve had the item for less than a year. Today while incline bench pressing the bench collapsed and went from incline all the way to decline in the middle of my set. Thankfully I wasn’t maxing out. This could have been much worse. Upon inspection I found no areas of neglect on my part. I no longer feel safe using this product.

This bench is poorly designed. The seat leans to one side, as the pull-pin mechanism just barely touches the position hole. The position hole ends up resting on the rounded end of the pull-pin which causes it to lean. I tried to reinstall/adjust it multiple times, but it would always end up in the same position, causing the lean. The bench seat/backing material is really thin and feels flimsy, I trust the frame to handle the weight limit, but not the bench attached to it. The material wrapping the bench looks nice, but feels really soft and I do not think would keeps its shape after a few uses. I only used it once, and felt the bench was not stable enough for heavy usage, with heavy weights. I would highly discourage anyone from buying this overpriced bench. There are better, more stable options out there. I ended up returning it to the store.

Great bench! You wouldn’t think of Best Buy for gym equipment but it was much cheaper than other options of the sane quality. Watch for sales

This is a great work out bench. It allows me to do several workouts. Easy to assemble.

It works well but I was hoping to get a more durable one. You can tell that this will need to be re screwed over time and break down.

Great workout bench. Only minor complaint would be that I wish the back was a little taller when set up for incline.

Installation was not difficult if you promptly follow the instructions provided in the manual

If you’re looking for an all-around easy to use and family friendly adjustable bench, this is a great option. For starters, it was extremely quick to put together. In about 25 minutes, I had it unboxed and assembled. Piece of cake. Further, it is super easy to adjust the seat and backrest. You just pull out the pin, move the seat or backrest to the desired position and the pin snaps back in to secure the desired position. The other great thing about the unit is that it is easy to move around. It has a handle on one end and built-in wheels on the other and take minimal effort to move from one location to another. My sons (10 and 9) can move it around without issue. Overall, I’m very pleased with the unit. I was given the unit at a reduced price for my honest feedback.

The ProForm Adjustable Bench was easy to set up and is easy and convenient to use. It works well and is of good quality. It improves my weight routine as I have a way to adjust my range while lifting. I have had it less than a month but feel it will last. I previously reviewed a product for free from the company to share my honest opinion.

Very happy with this bench. It took a little work to put together but the bolts used are very high quality and the bench is stable and doesn't make any noise when adjusting it. Very sturdy. You can tell it will last for a long time and that its quality equipment.

This is a solid bench. You have to assemble it right and follow the instructions, and if you do, it's a great workout bench. Stable. Adjustable. And easy to move around with the wheels. I use it for traditional weight lifting but also as a plyo box (jumping up onto the bench).
