Great price. About half of what Intuit wants for the same thing.

I'm a repeat user, so pretty much hooked on Quicken. I like how easy it makes managing my personal finances, by making answers to tax questions a matter of running a report and answering questions on "when did we?" or "how much was?" so easy. I DO wish that it was easier to tie in my investment accounts to download current market values and transactions. Still haven't been able to manage that.

I am a long term user of Quicken. Just like everyone else, I am angry about Quicken now forcing you to subscribe every year in order to use their on line tools. The For me, I really only use the one step update to download quotes and investment information. I didn't mind upgrading the program every 3 years. But to pay what they want every year just for this service is frustrating to put it mildly. Before I made a switch to another program (Empower, for instance), I saw Qucken Classic one year subscription on sale at Best Buy. It was important that the product description for what I bought did not say "for new users" (others do). Also, it was not a digital download but a physical box that I picked up in store. The box did not contain a CD as in the past however. I did succesfully upgrade my subscription for one more year simply by opening the existing version on my PC and, at the top where it said my membership had expired, I clicked on "Activate". This took me through the steps to enter the one-time-use activation code that came on a piece of cardboard inside the box. After I entered the code, I received a green check mark, I clicked on "Activate Membership" and all seems to be working. I verified by updating the program (which I had not done in over a month) and viewing Help->manage my subscription. It shows I now have another year. Sorry for long review, but I wanted to outline the steps to confirm to other users such as me that this activation path works so you can purchase a new one year subscription while on sale.

I've been using Quicken for nearly 30 years and it's a solid product excellent for keeping close track of all your financials. The desktop version for Windows has a ton of features for tracking and reporting and functions well even with a huge data file. I wish the MAC version came closer to the Windows version though....and I could do without the new subscription-based pricing.

Been using for many many years. Best I can find for my personal banking. Wish price was lower. Seemed to rise considerably yearly. No great "specials". Don't need all the extras. Would love just basic downloading on financial banking,

I have been using Quicken for years and I love being able to print out expenses, net worth, investment accounts, account balances, etc. with the click of a button. It is easy to use and reports are simple to generate.

My intro to Quicken was in the year 2000. I saw a bundle with it and Turbo-Tax (both were owned by Intuit at the time). I've found it to be the best tool for managing my finances. Since going to a subscription platform I find it less compelling, but there isn't any other product which can match it. Whenever I find a sale on a 1 year sub I'm compelled to purchase renewal, and update my copy within a month of the renewal date. Remember, the activation code is good for 1 year, and can be entered 6 months before the renewal date. It's easy to activate from the program's Help screen > Manage Subscription field.

Have been using this to keep track of my bank and credit card transactions. Helps to find the restaurant you like years back. Helps to generate reports on spend categories. Have been using it for last 15 years with every 3-5 years upgrade. Now with yearly service its a bit expensive but no competitor option available.

I've used Quicken for over 30 years. Everything works as advertised. My only complaint is Intuit's inflexibility with customer suggestions.

After all these years Quicken remains the best money management program

Been using since 1992 and it works well for me. Liked it better when the purchase did not expire after a year.

Quicken is the old standby for keeping track of household finances. My only beef is the yearly cost of admission. If you are locked in to the ecosystem it would be nice if the yearly subscription were lower. I tend to wait till I can find it on sale and then buy it since it saves a few bucks.

This product is for existing customers. It comes with just a code and you can enter the code in the software to renew the subscription. I specifically mention that it is for existing customers because Quicken also sells the same product for new customers. In previous years, these codes could be used interchangeably, but I read somewhere that it may not be the case. So why risk it? Get this one if you are an existing customer.

I have used this software for over 25 years. What I will say is that I dont like the annual subscription fee. Customer service works hard but in my personal experience, my issues were not easily resolved. I continue to utilize Quicken because i am familiar and the fits my needs but i may explore other options in the future.
