This was one of the most beautiful laptops I’ve ever owned, but that’s about it. The performance was poor, though it could handle most game titles. I returned it because the replacement unit also lost connection to the trackpad. Please improve quality control, Razer. It’s a shame such a gorgeous piece of machinery doesn’t even work properly. This wasn’t a once-a-month issue—it happened every two hours, leaving me without a cursor and unable to control the laptop.

I purchased this device after going through about 8 others from various Taiwanese OEMs and disliking all of them, wont bore with details. I wanted to give it a week or two before writing this. Only build quality issues I can see are two. The bottom lid near the intake fan cutouts feels a bit flimsy when pressed but doesn't make a distressing noise when this happens. Unless you are physically looking at it you wouldn't know the metal was deforming around the perforation. Second there is a U shaped bar of plastic that covers the lower hinge on the LCD panel which pops and clicks if pressure is slid across it. That said anything that's regularly touched is excellent. Pros: All metal, no deck flex or creaking when holding from an edge. Very good webcam, 0db fan support, glass trackpad. Excellent vapor-chamber cooling and low noise fans. Excellent 8hr+ battery life Cons; Lower deck flex. RGB on keyboard does a self-test on boot and does not "remember" its color setting until Synapse is loaded. Expensive for what it is spec wise.
