Love this keyboard. Quality feels solid, and worth the money. However, I was a bit disappointed that the top part of the case is plastic, and not metal like the Blackwidow or huntsman elites, especially for the price, but still doesn't feel cheap. The keys feel really nice to type on, not as clicky as what i'm used to (i believe my blackwidow elite had clicky purple switches), don't get me wrong, the keyboard is still loud, as mechanical keyboards should be, its just a different type of sound, its a more dull plastic hitting plastic sound. The keys were a bit too sensitive for my liking at first, i was spamming keys when barely touching them, thankfully this keyboard allows you to adjust the actuation via the software, so was able to make the keys less sensitive. this feature alone justifies the price in my opinion. I was a bit worried about the volume control on the keyboard. My Blackwidow elite had the same exact set up and controls, and it was really glitchy, googling it found tons of people having the same exact issues, for example, while attempting to turn up or down the volume, the volume would jump around, so there was a design flaw in the sensor. Seems they maybe have fixed the issue, the knob seems more solid, less loose, and hasn't given me any issues yet. fingers crossed. The lighting doesn't seem to be as vibrant as it has been on past keyboard, i think its due to the type of keycaps used, these are high quality and more dense plastic caps, so that could be why, can easily switch keycaps back to the older cheap plastic ones if lighting is a huge deal. the lighting on the sides, and media keys are super vibrant. the wrist rest seems of high quality, and feels nice. snaps on with ease and has a firm connection. The lighting on it is a nice touch, i don't use the wrist rest though. so i put that back into the box. i haven't messed with the 360 degree analog stuff yet, so i can't say much for that. also haven't messed with the dual step actuation, but i think they'll come in more handy and useful than the 360 stuff. love the keyboard, and don't regret the purchase at all. still for the price, metal casing would've been better.

Yes it is a bit expensive....but it's soooo worth it! Nicest keyboard I have ever had. The keystrokes feel smooth and precise, and the case is dampened well so it sounds nice. The ergonimics are perfect, I really like the fully covered padded hand rest more than the last generation. (The Huntsman Elite from a few years ago had an aluminim boarder around the padded hand rest that I didn't like, it was tall and uncomfortable). I love the new USB 3.0 socket on the side, I don't know why all their keyboards wouldn't have that. This is a great all-around keyboard. I have it paired with a Razer Basilisk Ultimate mouse, and a Razer Firefly V2 mousepad, and I honestly can't imagine a better setup. The lighting is very cool looking, and I like how it can sequence the lighting effects across everything using their Synapse Chroma Studio app.

This is the best gaming keyboard I have used. The full size is great and the added media controls are excellent! I upgrade the keycaps with the Razer Mercury Green pbt caps an it looks awesome!

Great keyboard. Have both the huntsmans we elite keyboards. Both are pretty much the same except the key switches. It took me a few days to get use to the new switches. In all honesty if you are looking into buying this or the older version for $50 less I would highly recommend the older version. Both are superb keyboards

Razer - Huntsman V2 Analog is on point! It has a lot of extra features, and the lighting is great. My pictures may vary from the original model, but that is only due to replacing the keycaps. It has never let me down.

I love this keyboard! I'm coming from a Razer Ornata. Totally worth!! You may have to change the actuation points in Razer Synapse because they are quite sensitive. The only other issue I'm having is sometimes in a particular game I play(Black Desert Online), I'll press a key and release. On occasion, it'll act like I'm still holding it down until I press again. But it might also be an issue with the game not liking the whole analog thing haha

I've been using the Razer Huntsman V2 Analog for about three weeks now. I used a $60 ThermalTake Meka keyboard for 10+ years (black linear mechanical switches) and decided it was time to update my peripherals. I opted for the Huntsman V2 Analog because (1) it has linear switches, which is what I am familiar with, and (2) it seemed to be one of the better keyboards out there with additional functionality thanks to the analog capability. I will say that it took a little getting used to at first, but now I am really loving it. Sure, you can probably save $200 and get a cheaper keyboard that works just fine and probably has decent build quality. But if you want to treat yourself and you like linear switches, this is a very solid keyboard. Pros: Solid feel, solid build quality. I *really* like the included wrist rest. The analog switches allow you to customize the actuation point for all of your switches from 1.5mm to 3.6mm which is a big reason why I opted for this keyboard. The Razer Synapse software used to customize the keyboard seems to have good functionality and is easy to use. The RGB is on the dimmer side, but I didn't want a bright and flashy keyboard to begin with. There is one USB 3.0 pass-through port located on the left side. I haven't had any issues with ghosting and I expect this keyboard to last me a long time. Cons: It' is pricy. The analog functionality is heavily advertised but it takes work to implement effectively, not all games support it, and it's difficult to use without bottoming out your keys immediately. You might also experience some trouble using an actual controller with this keyboard plugged in because Windows treats it as an Xbox 360 controller (due to the analog functionality). There are some settings that can be tweaked to get controllers to work while this keyboard is plugged in and Razer Synapse explains how to do this, but it might still take some tinkering to get it set up properly. The point of all this is just to say that, at the moment, the analog functionality is mainly just used to customize your actuation points, not for actual gameplay.

This keyboard is a very well constructed keyboard that, once you get used to it, feels surprisingly really good when typing. The analog keys come in very handy with any game that has driving involved(Cyberpunk 2077, GTA5...). You can also adjust the actuation points of individual keys. This comes in handy when you want to make a side key, say "E" have a deeper actuation point to prevent accidental presses vs say the WASD keys. The RGB lighting on this isn't that great, so if you must have great lighting, look at Corsair. Otherwise this does an OK job but nothing to write home about. It does have lighting all the way around the side of the keyboard AND writ rest, which is nice. Where Razer really drops the ball is the way things are implemented in Synapse. One of the annoying bugs is that whatever profile I import, NONE of them apply chroma colors to the actual KEYS on the keyboard. It colorizes the outer light ring but NOT the keys. I have to MANUALLY try to fix every single profile. This has got to be a bug(according to some it is), but it NEEDS to be fixed. Otherwise you are stuck designing your own profiles. Another huge issue is when you activate Analog on keys, if you have to type with them, you can't, unless you HOLD DOWN the FN key(or FN assigned key) and then the keys work, but you have to HOLD the FN key. They need to offer a way to either TOGGLE the FN key or TOGGLE any set Analog keys, so if you drop into chat, you toggle the keys and can type like normal. Then just toggle back. Pros Solid construction Feels good when typing Adjustable Analog keys Plush wrist rest that has RGB lighting Media keys are well done, especially the volume wheel(pay attention Corsair) Still has a satisfying key press sound(although no tactical feel) Cons Serious Synaspse shortcomings(see above for details), including not being able to apply Imported Chroma profiles properly Not so great RGB. They could do so much better here(see Corsair for how to do it) Poor lettering on keycaps that leave portions of text darkened on some keys No extra Macro keys STILL doesn't have enough onboard memory to load RGB profiles, only macros can be loaded(again, see Corsair for how to do this) Overall, the keyboard itself is great and I really enjoy typing on it.I reluctantly gave it a 5 because most of the issues are with Synapse, not the physical keyboard, and the Synapse issues should be able to be corrected/updated with time. But some should be corrected ASAP.

I'm a software developer and spend hours typing and occasionally playing games like CS:GO, Valheim, Starcraft, and a few other games. I love this keyboard. The feel of the analog switches feels great, the build quality is good, the new textured keys are a significant step up from the previous keyboard and the wrist rest is soft and durable. The only reason why I'm giving this keyboard 4 stars are because of the following. - The keys are slightly dimmer compared to the previous Huntsman. - While playing CS:GO, when I'm moving and I release one of the W, A, S, D keys, I still continue to go in that direction occasionally. I'm currently trying to find a resolution to this issue.

I bought this on sale for $149.99. Lots of RGB. The keycaps feel rugged enough. The analog takes a while to get used to. You’ll either like it or you won’t like it. They also have dual actuation.

Amazing keyboard with a plethora of customization using the Razer Synapse program. The keyboard although heavy and full size looks sleek and clean. Included wrist rest is very high quality. I enjoy the sound of the opto-mechanical keys, they are excellent! I did upgrade specific keycaps using the Razer Upgrade set (not included) as well as plug-in an USB 4port extension to the pass-through port on the keyboard for extra slots. The keyboard does require at least 2 usb slots or 1USB and 1 USB-C for full function of keyboard and lighting.

Fantastic keyboard, nice key feel, and satisfying to type on. My only real complaints for this keyboard are its price and that Razer still doesn’t allow any lighting effects to be stored on the keyboards memory, always defaulting to a rainbow, which I for one am not a fan of. I shouldn’t have to run Synapse to get a solid color.

This keyboard is amazing and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice keyboard. I wouldn’t recommend using Razer’s Synapse RGB program as the movement keys were causing input while playing despite me not touching the keys. Uninstalling fixed it for me though.

To start off, I originally purchased the CORSAIR - K100 RGB Wired Gaming Optical-Mechanical OPX Switch Keyboard with Elgato Stream Deck Software Integration. Then, after reading some more reviews and specs for the Razer - Huntsman V2 Analog Wired Gaming Opto-Mechanical Keyboard with RGB Chroma Backlighting, I decided to give it a try. I ultimately returned the Razer - Huntsman V2 Analog Wired Gaming Opto-Mechanical Keyboard with RGB Chroma Backlighting to go back to the CORSAIR - K100 RGB Wired Gaming Optical-Mechanical OPX Switch Keyboard with Elgato Stream Deck Software Integration...it is just a much nicer, sturdier, and quality Gaming keyboard! Don't get me wrong...as it really is a Good Gaming Keyboard w/a soft & plush comfortable wrist rest...though the material of the wrist rest does really feel quite flimsy...easy to tear or possibly peel/flake later. The keys of the Razer - Huntsman V2 Analog Wired Gaming Opto-Mechanical Keyboard feel great with their almost flat topped feeling keys (no real finger curve) and nice texture as well as the soft click/clack sounds...not too mechanical sounding. However, as others have stated, due to the nature of the Doubleshot PBX keys...the RGB lighting is quite dim as seen through the keys. This remains the case for the lighting surrounding the keyboard as well and on the edge of the wrist rest. This is especially so when compared to other keyboards...like the CORSAIR - K100 RGB Wired Gaming Optical-Mechanical OPX Switch Keyboard with Elgato Stream Deck Software Integration which is SIGNIFICANTLY brighter! Even my much older Corsair K95 RGB Platinum Keyboard is also much brighter...and after having it for almost 3 years and almost non-stop use at that. I must also add that the kickstands at the bottom of the Razer that lift the angle of the keyboard are very flimsy...and collapse very easily. Also Note: the Razer Huntsman V2 Analog keyboard only has a polling rate of 1000 Hz whereas the CORSAIR - K100 RGB Wired Gaming Optical-Mechanical OPX Switch Keyboard with Elgato Stream Deck Software Integration has a polling rate of 4000 Hz! In fact, the Corsair iCUE software even allows it to be set at 8000 Hz! Now, I am not some paid or rewarded Corsair sponsor/supporter nor any kind of Razer hater. I am merely providing facts regarding these choices so you may make your own decisions based on your own investigations and experiences. Do your homework!

Love this keyboard, I can remove the comfort thing, and yea, like the custom lights, really good, *flex on Logitech kids* it's super good to use my favorite part about it is the right top corner with the circle to adjust you volume and you can skip,play,pause you music when your playing a game. Really live the sound to it and how on the "razer synapse" you can control how hard you can press on the keyboard.

I am coming to this keyboard from the original Huntsman Elite. I do miss my clicky switches because I love that sound, but that sound makes my wife want to murder me. Yes, there is still some bottoming out and the spacebar is loud, but I have to say the wrist rest is the best I have ever used. The switches are so smooth and linear that they are a pleasure to type on. I really do smile at times when typing on this keyboard. It is fast, accurate and yes, it is expensive. Is it worth it? In my opinion yes, it is worth it. You won't regret it and with Best Buys wonderful return policy if you do you are covered. The RGB lighting is wonderful, I haven't tested the gaming features yet but I have heard how amazing they are. I only wish they had kept the RGB bar on the top of the keyboard.

I bought this keyboard after testing it as a display model. My determining factors that led to this decision were mostly based on the sound and the feel of the keys. I loved the solid yet firm and softer sounding switches this had over my previous Razer Black Widow V3 with green switches. I was moving into a new college apartment and didn't want my loud keystrokes bothering my roommates. The feeling of the keys and the wrist pad are a huge upgrade on any other Razer keyboard I've tried. Would definitely recommend to buy and would do it again. I paid $250 plus the 2 year insurance and would gladly do that all over again. I havent had a chance to test out al the capabilities it has in terms of its software but for the most part it looks rather manageable. Those features did not influence my purchase.
