To prepare for installation, clear a path from the street to the kitchen wide enough to accommodate the refrigerator. Make sure someone 18 or older is present at the appointment time.
We’ll disconnect the existing refrigerator from the electrical system and water.
We'll attach the manufacturer-supplied hardware and handles to the refrigerator. Then, we'll connect it to existing utilities using a new water kit (sold separately, automatically added at checkout).
We’ll clean up and recycle all packaging and make sure your new refrigerator is functioning properly. Finally, we’ll answer any questions you may have and let you know how to contact us for future support.
When you purchase a qualifying refrigerator from Best Buy, we’ll haul away and recycle or relocate your old one for you (not included).
Additional charges may apply for permits required by your municipality, cabinet or counter modifications, and utilities like valves or outlets which are non-functional or not-up-to code. Relocation does not include reconnection.
