The installation is fairly straightforward. I wish the kit came integrated with the Smart Hardwire kit, but if you want the camera to stay on when the car is off for parking mode you will need to buy it separately. It comes with an adequate 32 gb SD card, and a 18 month warranty (if you register the camera). I installed this on my 2024 Corolla LE Hybrid. The rear camera should be installed in between the defroster lines and will have an adequate view from this position.

This dashcam is worth every penny. The image quality is extremely clear. License plates are easily readable. A few days after getting my dash cam installed, I narrowly avoided an accident after someone rolled through a stop sign and cut me off. Although nothing happened, it is reassuring to know I would have captured the entire incident if something did. Highly recommend this cam.

Nice dash cam. Easy install, take your time routing your wires. First throw away the cheap self stick wire clips & buy some 3/4" spuare 3M self stick wire clips. After your install see where they need to go. Stick them, let them set overnight then clip youe wires I wish the power adapter was a USB or "C" instead of the 12v plug in. The menu is a little hard to manuever, but can be figured out. Bad, when Wi-Fi is connected all the data derails won't get off the screen when connected to your phone, not good, but turn the view off and use your phone screen. No regrets so far.

A little expensive, but definitely gets the job done. Awesome recording for the front facing camera, but I just wish that the rear camera was also 4K.

I really like this camera system. I had a front camera, but with all the crazy drivers I wanted a front and rear camera. These cameras take quality video. I was hesitant getting this a rear camera because I own a Prius and I was worried about how the wiring would be done with the hatchback. I had Best Buy at Lady Lake do a hardwire install on the cameras and they did a fantastic job! No hanging wires, everything is hidden (see photo). Also, because I an a TotalTech member, the installation was free.

Good Cameras No problem with them at all. Except for the installation in Best Buy Pasadena CA they did a terrible Job didn’t bother to try to hide the cables. 2 stars is more than enough.

O bought it thinking was the best, but it won’t download videos to my phone and the buttons on the camera they are for show because they don’t do nothing at all. Worst dash cam I ever had. I sincerely don’t recommend it.

Hey David, tap the REC button once to stop recording. Then you can use the menu button to access the settings. To enable wi-fi on the camera, press and hold the REC button till you see a wi-fi symbol show up on the screen. Or go through the menu settings and look for wi-fi, make sure it's turned on.
Thanks.

Camera startup is immediate, and the installation is easy (the adhesive is awkwardly strong). The menu is nice and large. The camera is a bit bigger than other dash cams, but if you mount it behind your rear view mirror, it won't block your vision. The cord is plenty long enough to run along your A pillar and reach down the passenger side, then to loop back to your cigarette lighter. Only 4 stars because by default, videos are saved in HVC1 format, which I have never used and never heard of. VLC Media Player had no idea how to open it, and I couldn't even use Adobe Premiere to read it either. I had to download a random trial software to convert it to MP4. This will be a pain until I can figure out how to either save the formats into MP4s, or until I can find a permanent HVC1 to MP4 converter.

Bulky and doesn’t sit as flush as I’d hope. The camera itself is of nice quality and easy to install but I was looking for something a little more flush.

I recently purchased the Rexing V1P Max Plus dash cam and have been thoroughly impressed. The front camera's 4K UHD recording delivers exceptionally clear footage, making it easy to read license plates and street signs. Installation was straightforward, and the sleek design complements my car's interior. However, the rear camera's video quality is somewhat lacking, especially in low-light conditions. Overall, this dash cam offers excellent front-facing video quality and reliable performance.

A little on the large size. Purchased the Kingston Canvas card that Rexing suggests. Every so often, it boots and is paused - need to unplug and plug back in to get it going. Not sure why?

I’ve been wanting a dash cam since I got into a small fender bender and because I wanted to police myself on the roads. It took me months to finally choose one because they’re are so many options and they all practically have the same camera lens. After going into Best Buy and working with someone and comparing so many side by side with their specs, I landed on the Rexing V1P Max. I just got it installed a few weeks ago and still learning the ropes to it, but I like it having protection front and back of my Jeep. I also opted to get the extra part for parking mode too. I had to order it prior to my install appointment because they did not have it in stock. also suggest getting the bigger memory card for more space. Some reviews mentioned the screen is too small and hard to see, but you’re not meant to watch it from the screen. There’s an app to download. Being in a no fault state, I’ve been telling everyone about it.

I bought this but have to return because although it has a good quality, i noticed that at night time, the camera is a little blurry plus the camera itself is bulky for my small car (mini cooper), thus, for 4 star rating and returning the product. Till now, i am still searching for a good dash cam

The reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because the app is a little hard to connect to the dashcam. After many tries and a few choice words I believe I got it. You have to unconnect and reconnect and make sure your mobile data is off. Have to connect it each time you want to review your footage. I am not saying this happens to everyone but for me it does. Plus side... The picture quality is amazing! I love how it shows your speed on the videos. In case someone says your speeding etc its already there so you have your proof! The installation was a breeze even with a very hyper 6 year old (helping lol). I did try calling their number for help on the connect issue but they says because of covid yiu have to email which was 0 help. All in all iv happy with the purchase.

Purchased the Rexing V1P Max Plus dash camera for my daughter for Christmas. I also purchased the hard-wire kit for a tidier installation. Installation was fairly straightforward, however I did watch a number of videos on YouTube to get some pointers on installation for my specific car and to better understand how to use the fuse taps correctly. The video quality is very good and the functionality is exactly as advertised. It's still early to comment on how the dash cameras (both front and rear) perform in the long run, but so far we are pleased.

It’s an excellent dashcam! Records in 4K and looks very sharp with some nice must have features such as GPS tracking to keep note of your speed, and a super capacitor instead of a rechargeable battery for better longevity. Only minor complaint is the dashcam is fairly bulky but it’s not noticeable while driving.

I recently purchased a Rexing dashcam, and my experience with it has been quite positive overall. While I did encounter a minor hiccup during the installation process, I must say that the camera's performance and quality have truly impressed me. The installation hiccup I experienced was related to the motion detection feature. The instructions provided with the camera didn't offer a clear explanation of how this feature should function. However, I was determined to make it work, and with a bit of patience, I managed to get it set up. It did take a little extra time, but the end result was worth it. One of the standout features of this dashcam is its aesthetics. It looks fantastic, adding a sleek and modern touch to my vehicle's interior. Not only does it enhance the overall appearance, but the quality of the camera is also top-notch. The footage it captures is clear and sharp, even in challenging lighting conditions. The real game-changer for me was the smart intelligent hardware kit that comes with the camera. The motion detection capabilities provided by this kit are incredibly helpful. It adds an extra layer of security to my vehicle and ensures that any unusual activity is recorded. This feature has given me peace of mind, knowing that my car is under constant surveillance. In conclusion, my Rexing dashcam has proven to be a valuable addition to my vehicle. Despite a minor installation hiccup, I am thoroughly impressed with its quality, aesthetics, and the added security offered by the smart intelligent hardware kit. I feel more confident on the road knowing that I have this reliable dashcam in place to capture any unexpected events. I would certainly recommend Rexing to anyone in search of a high-quality dashcam.

The front and rear cameras give a very clear picture but I have not been able to consistently connect using the app and wi-fi since purchasing the system. The technician that installed the system couldn't even figure out how to keep the app connected with the cameras. I now have to reach back out to Geek Squad and Rexing to see how to resolve this. I can't recommend the system for others until I know these issues can be resolved. If they can, then I will update my rating.

We appreciate the feedback.
We have updated the app, it should work a lot better now.
You may want to disable your mobile data, if needed.
Thank you.
