About This Item
Leopold Mozart defined it as a Minor light inside the European music panorama. However the Galant style of F.P. Ricci had great success still around the 1770, reasserting an Italian way of understanding music. Inspiration, impulse, enthusiasm and brilliance are those features which are here collected by Alla Maniera Italiana Ensemble. Composed by four musicians united by their passion for the chamber music repertoire, The A.M.I. String Quartet focuses on a few shared pillars common feeling, timbre research, attention to original scores and historically informed performance. A.M.I. is dedicated mainly to the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries' repertoire, with particular interest for the valorization and revival of unpublished Italian music, in particular from the Milan area. In this regard, it collaborates with the Archivio della Sinfonia Milanese in Binasco (MI), founded by M° Vanni Moretto. Album Tracks 1. String Quartet No. 1 in B flat Op. VIII~I.
