A: Hi Jack, Is your XBox controller wired or wireless but constantly plugged in? It is likely the noise is coming from the electrical current running through the controller due to it being plugged directly into the console - either for constant connection for a wired controller or constant charging for a wireless controller. There are a couple things you can try: Try plugging into a different AC outlet. Try plugging into a surge protector power strip. If using a wireless controller, unplug it and see if the problem goes away. Move away from other powered devices that could be causing interference. Another solution might be to open your Xbox One’s settings panel, go into microphone settings, and turn down or turn off “mic monitoring”. And finally, try plugging the headset into another device with a 3.5mm audio port that supports voice (PC, smartphone, tablet) and make a call. See if that buzzing is present. If it is, contact RIG for additonal support. If it is not, then the issue resides on the XBox and is likely an electrical current loop or setting adjustment. If none of this works and you still need assistance, you can reach RIG Customer Support via email at [email protected]. Thank you

Q: Is this a wireless headset?
A: No, it is wired.
Q: What is the difference between this(Rig 500 Pro Ex 3D) and the Rig 500 Pro Ha?
A: Hi Misaa, The two key differences between the RIG 500 PRO EX and the RIG 500 PRO HA are headset materials and audio cables. The 500 PRO EX features a durable metal headband and lightweight exoskeleton earcups. The 500 PRO HA features a lightweight plastic headband and lightweight exoskeleton earcups. The 500 PRO EX includes the RIG audio dial cable. The easy-to-reach RIG game audio dial delivers fingertip master volume control when used with console controllers. The RIG 500 PRO HA includes a longer 1.5m audio cable with in-line volume that is ideal for PC gaming, but also works with console controllers. Both audio cables terminate in a 3.5mm plug so they can be used with XBox controllers, PS4/PS5 controllers, Nintendo Switch, and PCs. And both include Dolby Atmos 2-year subscription code for 3D Surround Sound on XBox or Windows 10 PCs.
Q: Does it work for PC?. Does it have a mute button?
A: Yes it will work on a PC but you may need a 'breakout' cable to convert the single 3.5mm jack of the headset to the 2 jacks (speaker & mic) that many PC's use. Some laptops have a single 3.5mm jack and will work fine and others withthe same single jack only allow one function to work at a time. You select if you want speaker or mic to work when you plug it in. (Yes, it's the dumbest thing ever) . My Bestbuy has the breakout cable in stock. It does not have a mute button per say but you simply flip the mic up to mute it and back down to resume.
A: Plug and play. No firmware needed. They will work on Xbox one X and PlayStation 4. You can even use this on your phone as long as it has a 3.5mm jack. Anything with a 3.5mm jack
A: Hi Kambebb, With more info, we hope to solve your issue. Was there no audio? DId you try adjusting the RIG audio dial volume? (fully rotate clockwise for max volume), Did you have the correct sleeve on the audio dial? This headset comes with XBox sleeve pre-installed. You need to swap out for the included PS4 sleeve if plugging into that controller. Or no sleeve if using on a PC with single port for both mic/speaker. Please contact RIG Customer Support via email at [email protected] if you need additional assistance. Thanks.
Q: I bought this headset for myself but don’t know what the activation card is for what does it do?
A: Where was the code located i can't find mine?
