Two factors attracted me to this RIG R8 Pro Headset. One being that it has a charging base. And the other is that it utilizes the 3D audio feature that the PS5 has. Set Up: Setting up this headset doesn’t require a tedious checklist. My R8 was basically ready to go out of the box. I say basically because there is an update needed upon connecting the headset to the RIGR app. Can you use this headset without the app or updating? Sure, but you’re going to miss out on the customization features if you do. I really liked the fact that I can update the headset through the app rather than being required to download a desktop app and then needing to connect the headset to my PC. The fewer steps, the better. Setting up the charging base was easy, too. Whereas other headsets have a dongle that takes up a USB slot on your PS5, while also requiring you to use another USB slot for the charging cable. Gamer problems, right? It’s nice to have both the charging and the dongle connector in one spot. The dongle fits nicely into the charging base, leaving you a free USB slot. Once you’ve updated the headset, you are now free to customize the type of audio EQ that you may desire. There are already some preset options, but you are also allowed to create your own audio experience. Performance: For me, it feels like the R8 Pro takes advantage of the PS5 3D audio. Audio is an important part of the gaming immersion. The two games that I have been playing the most with this headset are Crimson Desert and Pragmata. Hearing natural sounds and random NPC conversations that seem like they are right next to you really helps you slide into the moment. While with Pragmata, the high-energy gunfire, accompanied by sharp electronic hacking sounds, adds to the heart-racing moments. I also enjoy the flip to mute microphone instead of pressing a mute button that I cannot see or accidentally rolling the volume wheel. The microphone is decent and doesn’t lessen my voice when I am streaming or talking to a friend in chat. Comfort: You cannot enjoy good audio without comfort. Fortunately, the R8 headset has incredibly soft ear cups that don’t suffocate your ears during long gaming sessions. And the headband doesn’t pinch your head either. Customize: The charging base has a quant RGB effect built into it. You can choose what color or style you want it to display. There’s also the option to replace the ear cup covers (available via their website). Nacon has been really delivering with their recent controllers and now the RIG R8 Pro Headset.

I have a pair of the official Sony INZONE headphones for my PS5 and they have always been just terrible as far as the connection is concerned. They just sound terrible with a lot of chopping and artifacting from interference. I was incredibly happy to find that this RIG set, in the exact same environment, sounds great without any noticeable interference. Setup was simple as usual for USB headphones. Just plug in the base to your PC and PS5 and then plug in the dongle into the base. The dongle has an 90 degree angled USB-C plug and a nice LED strip along the top so it looks really nice on the base. Turning on the headphones will find the USB connection and you're ready to go. You can also download the RIG companion app for your phone and connect to your phone via bluetooth which will help you update the firmware and adjust some settings like EQ and and mode. I'm not a crazy audiophile so I wouldn't be able to tell you the exact resonance of every frequency or anything but I did think this just sounded like a good pair of headphones. The volume was good with decent bass. I don't know how else to describe it. It just sounded good and was night and day better than my old INZONE9 set with no real interference. One thing I wasn't crazy about is that the headphones promote a "dual mode" which is supposed to be your phone and game at the same time. But it doesn't support these things simultaneously. It basically just allows you to take a phone call (who takes phone calls anymore?) which interrupts your game audio. It would have been so much nicer if playing bluetooth audio would just lower the volume on your game audio a little bit so you could listen to both at the same time. I would still recommend these headphones. The connection quality (especially considering what I've witnessed with an official Sony pair) is fantastic even with a lot of interference around it. The audio sounds great and I've been excited to be able to sit and relax on the couch and play some PS5 games without worrying about waking up the kids. If you have issues with a lot of interference, maybe give these a try and see if they work better for you.

I am writing this review for the Nacon PlayStation RIG R8 SPECTRE Dual Wireless Gaming Headset and Base Station. First, I am super impressed that Nacon actually partnered with Sony to produce the RIG R8 Pro HS headphones. When I saw the PlayStation logo on the rear caps, I felt a lot more at ease knowing these headphones would actually pair and work with my PS5 Pro console. And it did, flawlessly and very easily. Second, out of the box the kit comes with the headphones themselves (with attached non-removable mike), USB-C wireless Bluetooth transmitter, charging station, USB cord, of course the snap-lock PlayStation mod plates, and all the usual literature, including a quick-start guide. There is a QR code to scan that will also help with the setup. Setup was actually quite easy, so there are no real concerns there. The headphones, this is where the rubber meets the road. The R8 Pro’s come equipped with graphene drivers. Without getting in teacher mode, the function of any driver is to move back and forth fast, accurately, and without wobbling, wobbling being distortion. Just to clarify, these are graphene-coated drivers, not pure graphene drivers. But being able to deliver 20Hz – 40kHz frequency response is impressive, but with a few caveats. Where other 20-40kHz headphones can sound rich, full, musical, spacious and detailed, the R8’s are tactical and very clear. Bass is controlled, not super deep or booming (the 20Hz range). The highs are boosted (in the > +/- 12-15kHz range), which allows for a clear AND directional hearing of footsteps, distant gunfire, etc.). This is the R8’s strong point, and why they are so “tactical.” You don’t have to wait until you are getting shot at to know someone has walked up on you. The fit was a little sketchy for me at first. When I put them on, they felt almost tight, too tight. But the memory foam ear cups soon “kicked in” and had loosened up enough to be quite comfortable.. Don’t get me wrong, they are snug, but even after 6 hours, they had not become uncomfortable. The earcups are breathable, and don’t seem to build up any heat at all. I like the fact that they are easily removable in case you need to replace them or whatever. One thing I like about the design of these particular headphones is the removable outer earcups. In fact, the PlayStation earcups that came with the R8’s are replacement cups for the factory stock cups, and they are sharp. The microphone is not removable. To me that isn’t a big deal at all, especially since I have a tendency to lay things down and forget where I put them, so if I took off the microphone, there is no telling where it would end up until I found it months later! One thing I would have liked to see was the ability to locate the mike on either side of the headphones, but unless Nacon makes the R8’s for right or left and I don’t know it, you just have to deal with the microphone being on the right. Controls are located on the right as well. There is a bit of adjustment needed if you are already used to the location and functions of the controls on your current headset, but there is quite the minimalist design to the R8’s, so the controls are actually quite few and simple to learn… Power, Volume, Bluetooth Pairing, and the Game/Chat “switch” (immediately above the Volume wheel). The Game/Chat switch is a tricky little devil. In theory, it alternates between being able to hear the game more, or being able to hear chat better. But depending on how you actually have it setup, there are times when it doesn’t appear to do anything at all. The one downfall of the included quick start guide is that it doesn’t really cover this button at all… I had to do some searching on the web before I figured it out. But what about the sound? That’s the real question with the R8’s. As I alluded to earlier, the SPECTRE R8’s have a frequency range from 20Hz to 40kHz. Nacon states the R8’s are designed for FPS. So, they are tuned to be more tight and controlled instead of booming with bass. Why? Deep bass will smother the sounds of approaching footsteps and other sounds. The bass is still acceptable, and I am glad Nacon decided to tune them this way. When I say you can hear approaching footsteps, AND you can tell from which direction, I am being completely honest. They rule in this particular arena. And Nacon knew exactly what they were doing. Across the board, the R8’s offer up good to superior sound, depending on the circumstances. And again, these are FPS-dedicated headphones, and that is important to keep in mind. Bottom line, an audiophile would not buy these, but a serious gamer will. Bottom line on the sound is, yes, it is good, and on some levels very good. I truly appreciate the graphene drivers for their ability to deliver unbending audio, and to do so without distortion of any kind. For gaming, you want these in your arsenal. For music? Look elsewhere. As a footnote, the microphone seems to work very well. I’ve asked several people online how I sound, and they all say my voice is clear and easy to understand. The SPECTRE R8’s come with a charging base. In my way of thinking, although it is convenient as a place to put your phones when not wearing them, it’s just one more thing you have to deal with in what is, at least in my house, an already crowded environment of computers, consoles, headphones, VR headsets, etc. I put the charging base on the floor in front of the TV. I almost always just plug a charging cable directly into whatever needs charging. So what is my honest assessment of the Nacon PlayStation RIG R8 SPECTRE Dual Wireless Gaming Headphones? They are absolutely a worthy investment. They sound better (for gaming) than my other gaming headsets. They are comfortable (very), fit well, and don’t leave your ear sweating. And what about the battery life?? OMG, the R8 is rated at 60 hours!! SIXTY hours! I feel like I have been playing non-stop since I got the SPECTRE R8’s, and the battery life is still great! Yes, get these! You will seriously be glad you did.

I try to do a little research before a product arrives to learn some of the features but in this case, the R8 is so new it’s not even on the manufacturer’s website as I’m typing this. The first thing I noticed when I picked up the R8 is that the ear cushions are incredibly plush! They are thick memory foam and are able to make a good seal even around my glasses so that’s a huge plus. The ear cushions also use RIG’s SNAP+LOCK technology which uses four small but strong magnets so they can be easily removed to swap on other cushions that you purchase separately but they stay firmly in place during use. The outside of the cans have MOD-PLATES which also use SNAP+ LOCK so they can be swapped out. There is a QR code in the box which took me to what was supposed to be .stl files to print your own MOD-PLATES but unfortunately it directed me to a file for the R5 headphone MOD-PLATES which are different. I assume that’s because the R8’s are so new and that will be corrected shortly. The headphones include a charge dock that includes a usb-A to usb-C cable. I have the dock plugged into a usb-A hub and it works fine. The dock also has a usb-C port on top where you can plug in the included dongle which saves the usb-C port on the PS5 in case you’re already using that for something else. The dongle has a switch to select whether you’re connecting to a Playstation or a PC. The dock has some cool RGB effect bars on it. You can vary the brightness and the pattern by using either a long press (3s) or a tap. They are very thin bars and not distracting at all. The dock is handy to keep the headset tidy while charging instead of just laying on a shelf plugged into a cable. Placing the headset on the charger disconnects it from the Playstation. The headset also has a usb-C port on it, the manual specifies not to plug the device into a power supply exceeding 15w. Maybe on the next version they will change the dock to have SNAP+LOCK side plates so those can be changed to match my console colors? The all black dock doesn’t match my black and white controller chargers and console. The battery is 1100mAh, life is stated to be 60 hours. The battery is housed under the left MOD-PLATE and is removable so it can be replaced if needed. The microphone on this headset is on the right side ear cup and is the flip to mute style which I prefer. I used it in game and for phone calls and I was told it is very clear. The boom is bendable to set it the correct distance from your mouth. It is spec’d as being uni-directional and noise canceling. In my use, I thought I had the noise canceling turned off because callers could hear every little noise in the room and beyond. My neighbor was using a string trimmer and a caller could hear it running even though I was indoors with our windows closed. I honestly don’t see a setting in the app or a button on the device to turn the noise canceling on or off so I have to assume it’s on all the time and if that’s the case I don’t think the noise canceling works very well. If I missed something I’d like to know please! I did have the mic gain turned fully down and it mitigated some background noise but it’s still not as good as other noise canceling headsets I have used. The headset is very comfortable for long wear, only thing I would ask is that the ear cups need a little more length in adjustment. I wear a 2xl hat and with the ear cups pulled fully down they just barely fit over my ears with the pad on the headband fully compressed. I’d like a little more length to take some compression off the band pad. A quarter inch extra travel would make it perfect. The audio quality is excellent and the app has an eq so you can adjust it to your preference. The 3D audio is such a game changer especially in FPS games where you can hear your opponent’s footsteps as they sneak up behind you. I don’t typically use headphones for listening to music on my phone since I prefer earbuds for that but I did try these and they sound great! I use the headset in dual mode, BT to my phone and 2.4 GHz to the charge dock so I can make adjustments in the app or take a call while playing a game.

RIG gaming headsets were first manufactured pre-2010 by Plantronics under the "GameCom" and "Audio" names. Plantronics released the first RIG headsets in the early 2010s. They were snapped up by competitive gamers who appreciated their lightweight, premium quality design. Nacon acquired the RIG brand from Plantronics in 2020 & upgraded their wireless technology. RIG just introduced the R8 SPECTRE PRO HX Dual Wireless Gaming Headset with Graphene Drivers and Base Station for PlayStation. This is an ultra lightweight headset that is super comfortable and is designed for extended gaming sessions without fatigue. R8 Spectre Pro sounds fabulous with deep bass & crystal clear highs! I find myself inviting friends to hop on the PS5 more frequently than ever before because of its comfort & sound clarity. The base Station features RGB on 2 sides & cable routing in the base. Simply place the headset on the base & it begins charging instantly. After unboxing, the first step is to download the RIG R-Pro Navigator app. Follow the instructions to update your headset. Next, click on "Customizations" to fine tune "Microphone Gain & Monitoring", "Equalization", "Headset Start Mode", "Voice Prompts and Tone", and "Game/Chat Balance". CONCLUSION: Gaming with PS5 has never been so enjoyable until R8 Spectre Pro changed everything! This amazing headset earns my highest recommendation!

RIG makes several of my favorite headsets I’ve owned over the years due largely to how light and comfortable they are combined with great sound quality. The RIG R8 Pro HS continues most of what I have loved about past examples but makes a few changes I’m not completely sure about. First off, it is a comfortable headset as usual for the most part, but their new headband which trades the interior loose strap inside a large band for a solid padded band is not a good change in my opinion. It makes the headset smaller which means fitment for large heads such as mine is no longer ideal. It’s still better than several other options I’ve had but not nearly as good as the older RIG’s were. They do however have very good earcups that feel great even over my glasses. The flip to mute boom mic, and mode select, volume, and power controls are all on the back of the right side which keeps everything together but also makes the one side busy compared to the other. The headset drops into the included charging stand, which also houses the wireless dongle which can be used with or without the stand. As a result of that design the stand can be used independently of the dongle which allows it to be plugged in for charging without having to keep the USB ports on your PS5 powered all the time if you choose to set it up that way. The sound quality with 3D audio is excellent, and battery life is more than adequate for longer gaming sessions. I experience some discomfort from the new head band after a couple hours which is a real issue for me. I think that overall, this is a good effort from Nacon, but it isn’t quite perfect.

I have had multiple headsets that are "designed for PS5" or "compatible with PS5", and they never work right. Yes, you can get sound through them, but you can't control the volume or the microphone without going into a settings menu on the PS5. Not super convenient to try and pause, go to settings, and adjust volume in the middle of a game. I had almost given up on finding a solution until I tried the RIG-R8 Spectre Pro. I have this connected through the dongle to my PS5, and it was immediately recognized. A few adjustments for Dolby Atmos sound and other things were done in the settings menu, but the great news is that the toggle wheel for the volume control works, and the microphone is off when up, and on when down. It actually works like it's supposed to for the PS5!! Comfort wise, I like that the earpads are a cloth/foam style material vs leather. Better for breathability and comfort. The sound is great and the microphone is clear. Padding on the headband adds to the stability and comfort, and the overall design is fantastic. Dual connectivity allows you to have it connected to your PS5 and phone for easy switching if a call comes in while you're gaming. Controls and mic are on the right side ear, which took some getting used to. Most headsets have all the controls and mic on the left. Reasons why I deducted a star. I downloaded the Android app to connect and do the firmware update. It won't recognize that the headset is connected, no matter how many attempts or different ways I tried. I ended up doing it through an iphone instead and it immediately showed up, allowing me to update it. Android app needs to be fixed. Also, there have been times when I'm in the middle of a game and the sound cuts out. The only way to get it back is to hit a button on the side to wake it back up. Haven't figured out yet why it's doing that or how to stop it from going to sleep. Overall, the minor issues I've had don't change the fact that I couldn't be happier to have a solid option for a PS5 headset where I can control the volume and the mic from the headset, and not in a settings menu. I would absolutely recommend this for PS5 users!

My adult son has been using the RIG Sprectre Pro HS mostly for NBA 2K26 on PS5, and overall he is pretty happy with it. Setup was super easy - just plu in, sync it and he was ready to go in a few minutes, No messing aroung with confusing menus or anything. The sound quality is really solid. You can hear everything clearly, from the crowd noise to the sneaker squeaks and commentary, and it definitly make the game feel more immersive. Audio is crisp and loud without feeling distorted. He also said there were no connection or lag issues. Comfort-wise, he said it was decent, bit is did feel a little tight around the ears after wearing it for a long session. Not a deal breaker, but something he noticed compared to his other headset. He said the charging dock is cool and looks nice on set-up, bit it is bigger that what he is used to. His old headset just charged with a cord, and he could still use it while charging. With this one, you have to set it on the base to charge, so it is less convenient if the battery goes low while you are playing. It says the battery lasts up to 60 hours on a single charge. The color options to customize the base station are a very cool option with over 100 combinations! Overall, if you want a straong sound, easy set-up, and a clean wireless set-up, this headset is worth checking out. He just wished it was a little looser around the was and had a backup cord charging option.

The RIG - R8 SPECTRE PRO HS Wireless Bluetooth Gaming Headset offers unparalleled performance and sound quality. It is a premium product that will appeal to gamers that want top notch quality. The fit and finish is likewise what you would expect at this price point. The headset is sturdy but also comfortable to wear. Sound quality it superb and sounds similar to premium headphones that I use with my home theater system. Even though this headset is branded as a PS product, it is fully compatible with PC’s using the USB receiver or Bluetooth. I tested it with my PS5 and gaming PC and found this headset to be fully functional with both. The first thing I noticed about this product is the substantial mass. While being what I would describe as sturdy, the headset is surprisingly light for its footprint. You will know it is there, but it is surprisingly comfortable to wear. It is manufactured from a lightweight but strong material that should hold up well under vigorous use. The first step I took was to download the App and pair the headset to the App. The App is full featured and offers a substantial amount of adjustment to the use and sound of the headset. As expected, there is a full featured equalizer as well as other customization options. The included wireless USB receiver works perfectly with my PS5 as well as my gaming PC. I tested it watching videos from streaming App’s as well as gaming. The sound was amazing either way I used it and I plan to use it for both uses. I think it is great that this headset will fulfill my gaming needs and that if I want to take a break from gaming, that I can then switch seamlessly to watching videos. The sound quality from the RIG R8 SPECTRE PRO HS Gaming Headset is excellent. This is due the the premium engineering and heavy duty drivers. The sound is full range and detailed, and the bass is as deep as you want it to be. As i indicated above, this headset can double as general purpose headphones for watching entertainment videos. In my opinion even the most discerning audiophile will be impressed with the sound quality. The boom microphone also excels at transmitting sound. The operating hours is the best I have seen in a headset to date. I have been using it for several days now for a few each day, and it has barely made a dent to the battery. The headset cradle doubles as a charger but since the battery lasts so long the cradle can be put away until needed. This is how I am using it since I prefer a minimalist aesthetic. I highly recommend the RIG - R8 SPECTRE PRO HS Wireless Bluetooth Gaming Headset to gamers and casual users alike. It excels at gaming and entertainment listening. This is the best gaming headset that I have used to date, and am looking forward to using it for my gaming and entertainment needs.

RIG R8 SPECTRE PRO HS Dual Wireless Gaming Headset with Graphene Drivers and Base Station for PlayStation WOW what a great headset, but not just a headset for gaming BUT a headset also for your phone and music! In the nice packaging you get.... - R8 Pro HS Headset - Charging Base - USB Transmitter - Charge & Data Cable You can plug the base into the PS5 then plug the Transmitter into the base station then put the headset on the base station to charge it. Pairing with the USB Transmitter is automatically done, you hold the Bluetooth button down for 6 seconds then pair with your phone. Now every time you press the Bluetooth button (for a second) you can switch between phone, PS5, or both phone and PS5 at the same time. Gaming..... is just wow, pull the mic boom down to activate the mic and put the mic boom up to mute the mic. After paired with a phone you download the app "RIG R-PRO Navigator" Once in the app you can change the EQ (starts with a basic EQ but you can choose expert mode for a lot of adjustments to the EQ). You also can adjust the microphone gain and microphone Monitoring (you also get an optional Expert Mode to get more precise control of the two). You also can set three profiles to save to, like one for gaming, one for phone, and one for music. The sound and mic in gaming is just outstanding. Lots of bass if you adjust for it, to the point you will have to turn the bass down some (at least for me and I love bass). Crystal clear audio and voice from other players. Battery is outstanding, 60 hours of battery, I never run out of battery, as i charge it every night. Gaming with the R8 is just top notch audio, I can hear footsteps so clear, just wow TOTAL IMMERSION. Sound when talking on the phone is also outstanding I can hear the other party crystal clear and they can hear me, also when I stop talking it's so quiet on their end (if I have no noise in the background) the other party thinks we got disconnected. I absolutely love the RIG R8 Pro HS and highly recommended.

In the box is the headset, charging station (stand) including snap and lock plate (transmitter)), USB to USB-C charge cord, instructions (quick start guide) and warranty guide. (FYI - There is no charging brick.) (Yep, there is an app.) First Impression – The headset seems heavy. There is a LOT of padding for the top of the head and the ear muff. The headset seems well constructed. Bluetooth Transmitter – I like this part of the system because you can plug it directly into the PS5. This piece (like a dongle) allows you to transmit the Bluetooth signal between the headset and the PS5. There is a USB-C space on the charging station (stand) to secure and store the transmitter. With this piece, you have the option of being wireless or wired to the stand. Headset Design including Comfort – The headset is VERY comfortable. On the first day, I wore the headset for about two and a half hours and I had no discomfort. Sound (Headphones and Mic) – The sounds quality and range is excellent; there were deep base sounds and voices were super clear. The recipients also reported that my voice was crisp and clear. The App – There is a recommendation to download the app, especially for the updates. The app also allows you to customize the lighting on the stand. There has been a few hiccups with the app currently but this does not affect the usage of the headset. Overall, I am really enjoying this headset. The only drawback for me at the moment is the headset not coming with its own power brick. I understand why because you can plug the station directly into the PlayStation but it is nice to have independent power. I would recommend this item to friends and family and I would purchase again.

I picked up the RIG R8 Spectre Pro HS and I have to say this thing has genuinely impressed me from day one. I was a little skeptical going in because I have tried a handful of gaming headsets over the years and they all seem to have at least one thing that bothers me. This one does not. SETUP AND BUILD: Right out of the box you get the headset, the USB-C wireless transmitter, the charging base station, the snap lock PlayStation mod plates and everything you need to get going. Setup was honestly one of the easiest I have ever done. There is even a QR code in the box that walks you through it if you need it. The fact that this is officially licensed by PlayStation meant it paired with my PS5 perfectly without any headaches. BATTERY AND BASE STATION: 60 hours of battery life. Sixty. I honestly cannot wrap my head around it because I feel like I have been playing constantly since I got this and I still have not had to worry about it dying on me. The base station is a great place to dock it between sessions and it charges automatically when it is sitting in it. The RGB lighting on the base station is a nice bonus for the setup as well. COMFORT: First time I put these on they felt a little snug and I was not sure how I felt about that. I also have a larger head which doesn’t help. Within a few minutes the memory foam ear cushions did their thing and it all settled in perfectly. After 4 hours of gaming they were still comfortable and my ears never felt hot or sweaty which is a big deal for me during long sessions. The earcups are also easy to swap out thanks to the magnetic snap lock system which is a nice touch. MICROPHONE: The boom mic is not removable which honestly does not bother me at all. I asked a few people how I sounded during sessions and everyone said my voice came through clear and easy to understand. No complaints there. SOUND QUALITY: This is where the R8 really shines and it is hard to overstate how good the audio is for gaming specifically. The headset is tuned for first person shooters and what that means in real terms is that sounds like footsteps, distant gunfire and positional audio are incredibly clear and accurate. You can genuinely hear someone walking up on you before they get there and you can tell exactly which direction it is coming from. The bass is controlled rather than boomy which might throw some people off at first but it is absolutely the right call for competitive gaming. Muddy bass would cover up all those sounds you need to hear. For music I would probably grab something else but for gaming this thing is in a league of its own. VERDICT: If you are a PS5 gamer who takes their audio seriously this headset is the real deal. Comfortable for long sessions, outstanding positional audio, mic that actually works, and battery life that basically eliminates the need to think about charging. Easy purchase in my mind.

I will start with saying that I am very surprised in the low price on the RIG R8 Spectre Pro HS gaming headset. I have a large collection and these sound downright amazing, and swing way outside of their league! I find myself using these for music on my phone over other headphones I have because they are so comfortable and have such an amazing sound quality. They don't stop there though, as they are so full of features! I love the ability to play a game on my PS5 and take a call on the same headset at the same time! No more interrupting your gaming when someone wants to chat, which is so convenient. The battery life is also solid, I find myself not even worrying about charging them often since it is so great. The charting stand makes it easy when I do need to charge them, as they are stored away safely at the same time! The audio for gaming also sets you apart from the competition, no issues hearing footsteps and getting a really good idea of where they are coming from with the R8 Spectre Pro. Mic quality is crystal clear, and this is true for gaming chat and phone calls as well which is very nice. Overall I do not see any options out there as feature rich as these, with such great build quality and sound. These are the cream of the crop!

The Rig R8 Spectre Pro wireless gaming headset is incredible. The headphones have been plug and play with my PS5 pro. The App helps to dial in audio for specific games and can improve as the community grows. I enjoy the RGB on the charging stand. It helps to ensure the headphones are properly connected to the charge port as it simply is placed in the dock without an hassle. There is also not physical feedback with the stand to let you know it is sitting in place correctly so the RGB on the stand helps to know it is charging. When I initially picked up these headphones I thought. Oh no these are bulky and heavy I may not like these. I am glad that impression was wrong. I have played a few 6+ hour gaming sessions and did not deal with fatigue from the headphones. I was surprised and happy with the ergonomics of the headphones. The audio quality is good. For a consumer looking for a product that just works out of the box. Sounds good. Build quality is solid. This is a great set of gaming headphones. They also have a neat feature where you can swap out the outer plastic covering the speakers to any design they offer on their website. Cool you can customize them that way.

RIG - R8 SPECTRE PRO gaming headset is awesome! I plugged in the headset and it was awesome to hear the sound coming from my Playstation 5. Things flying around my head and made me feel like i was very immersed in the game itself. Packaging - Marketing has done a wonderful job of boxing this device. Everything is in a very compact box and easy to gain access. Cords, docking station, etc. Comfortability - These headphones are very comfortable. Ear cushions fit snug but not overly tight. In my basement, I have two reef tanks and I cannot hear either of them with this headset on. Sound - Nice and rich, really good bass. Playing music on my playstation rocks, really enjoying these headphones. Turned the headphones to 3D to see the difference and set the sound through the wizard. All I can say is WOW! Amazingly amazing. I was very impressed from the very first time I turned it on and heard the sounds. App - Easy to download and install on my phone. I was then able to update them and sounded even better than they did when I tried them originally. Love the ease of use and to set the headphones up in matter of seconds and sounding like crazy good. So good.
