Ring - Floodlight Cam 4K Pro, Retinal 4K Video, Up to 10x Zoom, Ultra-Bright Motion-Activated Floodlights - White

Hi DesertDweller. Thank you for taking the time to ask this question. The Ring Floodlight Cam Pro (2nd Gen) is rated for an operating temperature range of -4°F to 122°F (-20.5°C to 48.5°C). Extreme temperatures and other conditions can cause your Ring video doorbell or security camera to overheat. Some devices will enter Device Cooldown to help keep your device safe, which will limit features and temporarily reduce video quality. If the temperature continues to rise, your device will turn off automatically to prevent damage. Hi suz. Thank you for your question. Pricing and availability of Ring products at Best Buy are managed directly by Best Buy, so we recommend checking with them for current pricing on all Ring devices. To cover a quarter acre lot, you may want to consider a combination of Ring devices rather than relying on a single camera. Ring offers a range of outdoor security cameras at different price points that could work together to provide full coverage of your property. The Ring Outdoor Cam Plus and the Spotlight Cam Plus are both more affordable alternatives to the Floodlight Cam 4K Pro and offer great security features including motion detection, Two-Way Talk, and Night Vision. Strategically placing multiple cameras around your property can help ensure full coverage of your lot. Additionally, all Ring cameras allow you to customize your motion zones in the Ring app, so you can fine-tune each device to monitor the specific areas that matter most to you. This helps maximize the coverage area of each individual camera. We invite you to reach out to our community if any additional information is needed. Hi Harold. Thank you for reaching out with your question. Ring devices, including the Floodlight Cam 4K Pro, primarily use cloud storage to save your video and audio recordings. With a Ring subscription, your recordings are securely stored in the cloud for up to 180 days, and you can access them from anywhere using the Ring app. If you prefer to store and process your videos locally, Ring does offer a feature called Ring Edge. Ring Edge allows you to store and process your video recordings locally on a MicroSD card rather than in the cloud. To use Ring Edge, you would need a Ring Alarm Pro base station, a compatible MicroSD card inserted into the base station, and a Ring subscription. This gives you the benefit of local storage while still being able to access your footage securely. It is a great option for those who prefer to keep their data stored locally. Please note that the Floodlight Cam 4K Pro does not have a built-in SD card slot on the camera itself. The local storage option is made possible through the Ring Alarm Pro base station with Ring Edge. Hi Terry. We appreciate the time you have taken to ask this question. The Ring Floodlight Cam 4K Pro is hardwired with 110-240 VAC. Connect your Floodlight Cam Pro 4K, Floodlight Cam Wired Pro or Floodlight Cam Wired Plus into a standard outlet for non-stop power with the Plug in Mount for Cameras. This plug-in mount allows you to install your Floodlight Cameras in homes that don't already have a junction box or existing outdoor wiring.
