Put both fun and STEM learning into focus with your own DIY scientific observation tool, the ROKR Microscope. This fully glue-less 3D wooden puzzle kit is a working scope that lets you magnify tiny objects at 4x, 10x, and up to 40x using multiple lenses mounted on a revolving nosepiece. Turn on the LED light, place samples on the slide, and use the knob to adjust the lens barrel for sharper focus. Each full turn produces an audible click and raises the lens barrel by 4.5mm, made possible by its precisely engineered worm and worm-gear system. Improve contrast and sharpen details with green and blue switchable filters. Powered by 2 AAA batteries, this interactive assembly turns curiosity into an enjoyable scientific adventure.
This is not just a model – it's a working microscope! Equipped with 10x eyepiece and 4x/10x/40x objective lenses, it delivers 40X, 100X, and 400X magnification. Rotate the focus knob to observe real specimens like onion skin or leaf cells, bringing science lessons to life.
Slide the built-in two‑color filter (green and blue) under the stage. The green filter enhances contrast for unstrained live cells, while the blue filter improves resolution for microscopic photography. Easily adapt to different samples for better observation.
Assemble 260 precision laser-cut wooden pieces into a fully functional microscope. No glue or tools required – just follow the illustrated manual. Experience the satisfaction of building a real instrument piece by piece, perfect for teens and adults who love hands-on projects.
The worm gear mechanism raises and lowers the lens barrel smoothly, while a built‑in ratchet provides authentic damping and prevents over‑rotation. Carved tracery and metallic accents blend retro elegance with industrial charm, making it a stunning desk display.
Ideal for students aged 14+, homeschoolers, and hobbyists who love science, puzzles, or mechanical models. Whether for a birthday, back‑to‑school, or Christmas, this kit encourages logical thinking, patience, and a lifelong love for discovery.
