Plug electronic equipment into a single power source with this Rocketfish 12-outlet surge protector. It has two USB charging ports and two coaxial cable connections to support additional electronics. The surge protecotr has 12 outlets to connect wall chargers, and its 6-foot cord with a right-angle plug lets you can customize the placement of equipment easily.
A: Back of the box states: Clamping Voltage: L-N/L-G/N-G: 500 volts.
A: Yes, a RG6 COAX cable will connect but why would you want to do that? It can result in signal loss and signal quality degradation. My answer has nothing to do with the power conditioner in question but rather running COAX through a power conditioner in general.
A: $350,000 limited lifetime warranty
Q: Is the weight in the specs a typo? Does this really weigh 32 pounds?
A: The specs are wrong. It only weighs maybe 2 pounds or so, like other surge protectors of the same size.
Q: Is the plug flat or does it stick out from the wall?
A: The plug is flat. David M. - Rocketfish Support
A: I was solving a COVID home office problem where I had too many wires and too many extension cords. This thing seemed to solve my problem. I’ve had it plugged in now for almost a month, and I can’t tell any meaningful difference. I have plugged 11 things into mine with no problem. There might be some technical reasons it cost less than the $60 one, I certainly don’t see it. Hope this helps I would buy again
Q: What is the current rating of the USB ports?
A: Hello, the USB ports on this device are 2.1A total - If using one port the device will receive the full 2.1A; when using both, the amperage will be shared between the two devices. Regards, Daniel T. - Rocketfish Support
A: Not good, brother. Mfg says both lights should be working to be protected. Ground light only means you are grounded. The other light says you’re protected for voltage/power surges. Mfg says you may have had an overload. My thoughts are to disconnect all the plugs, wait a few minutes and then plug the main connector back in. If still no light, reread my first sentence. I’d call Rocketfish customer service (800-620-2790). Hopefully it’s still in the 1-yr warranty period. While figuring things out, keep your eye on the weather.
