Q: When not extended, how deep is this mount?
A: in the FAQ section i found this answer: The wall plate holds the TV 2.7” from the wall when in the home position.
Q: adjustability to left or right on wall bracket
A: The swing arm mounts to a slide section, you can move it about 5-6" left or right from center.
Q: Will this mount work for 18 inch on center studs?
A: Yes, the maximum stud distance width is 18''.
Q: sideways swivel seems to loosen up to easy...
A: You can apply a little plumbers tape to the screw, or buy loctite for the screw from a hardware store. This should keep it from coming loose.
A: As long as your Samsung TV weighs less than 130 lbs, it should be compatible with this TV mount.
Q: Can mount be used on wall that has steel studs. If not, any ideas?
A: I would mount it in the open wall using 1/4" Toggle bolts that you can get from Lowe's.
Q: I have a Vizio 70" will this mount hold it? TV weighs under the recommended weight requirements.
A: This mount is holding up my 75"Samsung 4k flat screen.Hope that helps..
