Q: I have a few questions: 1. Is this a shell only? 2. Do I need to remove the circuit from my other docking station in order for this to work? 3. My original docking station has the green rings of death. I need a new dock..will this work?

A: This acts as a complete replacement for the dock that comes with the Switch. The only downside I’ve found so far is that it does not support HDMI CEC, which turns on your TV automatically when you turn on the Switch. The original dock supports this but the Rocketfish does not.

Q: How do I get the dock to connect to the TV? I have followed the simple instructions and it still will not play on my TV. What can I do?

A: Without knowing too many details from your question, and not to insult your intelligence, I'll start with the basics. 1) Did you connect an HDMI cable from the dock to your TV? There has to be a physical connection to your screen through HDMI. 2) If it is connected through HDMI, did you select the correct HDMI input source on your TV? Unless you're using a stereo receiver or HDMI switching device, then you'll have multiple inputs on the TV to choose from, should be labeled on the TV where you plugged in as "HDMI 1," "HDMI 2," etc. 3) One thing I noticed when I connected mine is that if the Switch is in sleep mode, nothing will appear on the TV. I usually press the Home button on a controller to wake the Switch up and then it will display. 4) A final check would be to try a different HDMI cable before giving up. Hope this helps,

A: No. It comes with the wall plug but not the HDMI cable.

A: It does not work for the switch lite even as a charger only.

Q: Looking to use this as a second dock at home. Any issues "switching" between this dock and the official Nintendo dock during the same game play session? Wanting to start in the family room and move upstairs to the living room when the kids go to bed.

A: There shouldn't be any issues, this has the same functions as the official Nintendo dock, it can charge and display your console on a TV.

Q: Any idea why the TV signal goes black when this is in use? The power stays on, but it's like its loses signal periodically.

A: Make sure there is no dust or substance on the connections or replace the wire connecting it to the tv. may be a cable that does not support higher video resolution too.

Q: I need a replacement power supply for this dock, can someone point me to the correct one? Not a charger for the switch itself but the wall plug that provides power to the dock. Thanks!

A: The following is off the included adapter for this product. If you look up universal power supplies with 15 volts and 2 amps you may find what you are looking for!
