I did like the simplicity of the USB stick over your standard Roku. After having it for some I did notice that the stick will get hot and that at times it would make Roku freeze. It's something as simple as disconnecting and reconnecting but it's a small hassle.

This is an upgrade to a Roku stick in our bedroom TV. We have three other Rokus. I got this one because it has the built-in audio jack, which is great for whan I want to watch TV while my wife reads or sleeps, and because it includes TV remote functions (power and volume) so I don't need a TV remote anymore. Performance is much better. Starting up, responsiveness, time to start playing - all feels very snappy and a big improvement over our previous Roku stick. It comes with everything you need including Duracell batteries for the remote, and headphones. Installation was a breeze, took 5 minutes including a super simple process to get it to control my Toshiba TV. This Roku feels solid, very well made. Other Rokus were good, this one feels heavier, made with better quality materials, For the first week of use we have had zero problems streaming HD content. It's a great buy, highly recommended.

Bought the Roku Ultra HD 4K HDR earlier, but needed another for my other smart tv. The Streaming Stick was the only one left on the shelf, yes only(1) so much for timing uh? Anyway I took it home and hooked it up without any hindrance and believe me it worked just as good as the Roku Ultra-perfect!

These things work great! Had a couple of 43" HD TVs that were not smart tv's but the kids wanted Roku TVs, well I can tell you right now these were the perfect solution! They connect well to the wifi, even from the back bedrooms, the setup on them is probably one of the easiest electronic setups I have ever done (including programming the remote). The only thing that could possible even be improved on is that on one of the tvs there is BARELY enough clearance to fit it into the port so possible an adapter or extension like the one included for the power supply only to connect the device to the tv may be useful (there is a recessed portion on the back of one of the TV's where the ports are located and they face downwards and the stick is touching the angled portion of the plastic but it did connect and works fine so Im going to leave good enough alone). 10/10 highly recommend. **not a paid for add or free thing, I am really just super impressed and for $30 (christmas sale I think) you cant beat it lol

This gave my regular TV more streaming options than my smart TV,. Easy to use and I like the earbuds jack built into the remote. The design of the remote makes it easy to use without looking. I love it! https://youtu.be/gyqzQn9OrLs

Roku was the best thing I ever switched to! It started wish directTV, then Comcast, and now Roku just subscribing cheaply to tv services, and I definitely don't regret it! Never switching back.

Super easy installation and setup! Just had to plug it into the back of the tv and the wall, and within 5-10 minutes I was watching something from the large selection of free shows and movies!

Is very easy to use and it is what I needed to watch shows in 4K. It’s not as clear as my 43” Samsun also conected to a Roku 4K but it’s still pretty good.

Need to cut the cord w/AT&T Direct Stream and took a chance and bought the ROKU streaming stick and searched out alternative affordable streaming options for a lot less! I only regularly watch than 5-10 channels. Not being tech savvy but was able to install stick and use the remote w/out any drama.

I've been using this Roku for about three weeks now, mostly to stream Prime Videos, but also some YouTube and ESPN+ content, and I have also tried it in place of my normal Spectrum cable tuner/DVR. All in all, I have been relatively happy with the performance, once I get it going. I feel like whenever I first start using the device, it takes a while both for the remote to respond, as well as for the device to recognize an internet connection. My Linksys router sits in the room directly beneath the TV where I am using the Roku, and no other Wi-Fi devices of mine ever have any connection problems with the internet in that room, but most times when I first switch to my Roku it will show no internet connection, and if I try to select a program it will also tell me I am not connected to the internet. It has become my practice when first starting up to immediately go to the settings, and the setup internet connection screen. Simply opening that page seems to immediately let is "see" the connection again, even without having to actually make any configuration changes. The other startup issue I routinely experience is that the remote seems to freeze up at first. As I start scrolling through the channels or menu (to get to that setup screen to fix the internet problem) the menu will just freeze where it is, and for about 30 seconds or so I can't scroll anywhere. Eventually it seems to "wake up" again, but it is annoying to wait on. Between the stuck screen, and having to "trick" the device into recognizing the internet, it takes several minutes to finally be able to start watching programming after first switching to it. After I get going, the internet connection remains rock solid and it works like a champ. My brother talked me into buying the headphone edition, and that was a GREAT call. When we are laying in bed, I can watch something on the TV and listen to it with the headphones without disturbing my wife as she reads or even falls asleep. This is where the ability to stream your cable channels comes in handy. You don't have the functionality that comes with using your DVR to pause and rewind live programming, so on a normal basis I find it preferable to watch live programming normally, but on occasions where I want to use the headphones it is sure a nice capability to have. I have not yet tried using the voice remote capability to control the device. All-in-all, I am very happy with the device, and it has GREATLY simplified streaming programming to the TV. I just wish the startup process wasn't quite so annoying sometimes. One last detail to share: the remote comes with four preprogrammed "hot" keys to Netflix, Hulu, ESPN+, and Sling. I understand that on some versions of Roku these hot keys are reprogrammable, but it is my understanding that on this version they are not. Just and FYI.

We're a household full of Apple TVs. I bought this as a cheap option for the workout room. This is AMAZING! 1) It is less than 1/2 the price of an AppleTV (non-4K) 2) it is 4K 3) it plugs right in to HDMI port for a non-cord solution (like a thumb drive) 4) it is intuitive and very easy to use 5) it is responsive and ..... the bonus..... headphones. I can watch TV at night while my husband is sleeping.
