The DX-5 is powered by the premium ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M 32-bit/ 768kHz 2-channel Stereo DAC, delivering state-of-the-art digital-to-analog conversion engineered for superior audio performance. Ultra-low noise and distortion renders audio with stunning clarity and depth on an immersive, high-resolution soundstage.
Powered by a high-current Rotel in-house manufactured toroidal transformer delivering clean, stable, reliable power to the Class AB amplifier. The isolation of power supply feeds delivers optimal performance to the amplifier while minimizing unwanted noise to the critical low voltage circuits across all frequencies.
The Rotel DX-5 features HDMI ARC with CEC, Optical, Coaxial, RCA for legacy sources, PC-USB input (PCM 32-bit/384kHz, DSD 4X, Roon Tested) and AAC and aptX HD Bluetooth source inputs. Premium 5-way speaker binding posts and subwoofer output provide 2.0 and 2.1 installation options.
