It does NOT have the ability to correct. To fix a mistake use correction fluid or correction tape over the mistake. Let DRY completely then type on the fixed area what you intended to type the first time. NOTE: MUST let corrected area dry completely before typing over it. If area is not dry you'll need to get the letters cleaned. Hope this helps.

Hello Bella, The ribbon for the Classic typewriter takes our part number 7331525 that you will be able to find at Royal.com. This is a ½” black and red spooled ribbon. If you were to purchase a Universal ½” typewriter ribbon it should work, but unfortunately it depends on the maker of the ribbon. Royal Support Team
