A: There are 2 separate pieces, a front plate and back plate that are clear so the screen is covered.. The rubber guard (like a bumper) surrounds the bottom plate. I attached a picture so you can see the lip of the case around the home button.There is no where to attach a lanyard.

Q: I just received this today. The description made it seem like it has a top and a bottom part. Mine only came with the bottom part; there is not a screen protector. It sounds like there should be.

A: Mine did not come with a top piece either... :(
