This case adds the protection for my MacBook pro that I was looking for. It is a little thicker than my last case, adding to the overall profile of the laptop. This makes it less portable and reduces the travel packs/bags that I can use, but I knew that when I made the purchase. The priority for me was overall protection, which this provides. I'm not brave enough to drop the computer with the case on to test it that way, but moving it around the house, getting nudged from time to time by a pet—this is the perfect case for all of that.
