Okay, so if you're like me, and I know I am, you've read the reviews here on this microwave, probably thinking "only cooks :30 at a time" ? or "glass to dark"? Those we're the two stuck in my head that didn't seem logical to me. About the 30 seconds, there's no keypad with 0 to 9 like we're used to. You hot the cook button which is a "cook" and "add 30 seconds" button and then turn the dial to whatever time you need. Simple, and I like it. You set the clock with the dial as well. Example, for a frozen burrito that needs 1 minute, then tun over and one minute more, hit cook button twice, or once and dial in the rest, usually less than the full minute on the flip side anyway, so a slight turn of a dial beats beep, beep, beep, cook. The overly dark tint on the glass is, well, over tinted. You will have a hard time getting a visual on that burrito through the glass, but then, you're going to be turning it over in 30, 29,28,.. so the glass see through problem isn't a big deal to me, except for the first time cooking something, which was the only time I've actuall stood there watching food cooking. Your actual mileage may vary. Other key points, looks great, really. Even my no fan of stainless kitchen appliances Mother, whom I bought it for BTW, likes the look, and the dark glass adds to the appeal actually. YOU CAN SEE THROUGH, just not any detail really. It is 1000 w and does the job better than the 1100 w unit it replaced. Lastly, the coating on the inside makes cleaning up that burrito that went IED on you easy. Buy it, I think you will be glad you did. Oh and the "sensor cooking" does a good job from what I've nuked with it. All that AND the manual actually tells how a Magnetron tube is and why you like them. Pictures added are with the kitchen light on and light off showing the inside light while cooking. Again, not a big deal, unless you're prone to micromanage your microwave of course.

Think this unit fits the needs for this kitchen. Like the look of the unit too.

Bigger in the inside than I expected, easy to use, and the deodorize feature is excellent! So far, no complaints. I’d recommend.

Best microwave I've owned, sharp looking too. Thank you Samsung

It goes perfect with all my other kitchen appliances. It's a little big but that's fine because it still fits on my counter. Gives the kitchen a modern look.

We purchased the Samsung to replace a Daewoo microwave that came with the house when we moved into 8 years ago. Our Daewoo turntable had broken, and we thought a new unit was in order. Here's what you need to know: 1) They don't make them like they used to. "Stainless steel" implies cheap body that seems paper thin and looks stainless. Our Daewoo is solid stainless steel, as advertised. 2) This unit took much longer to heat food items, and this was the deal-breaker. Sure, the Samsung looks nice, and is fairly cheap, but it does not compare with our 10+ year old Daewoo. I ended up finding a replacement tray on-line and dug our Daewoo out of the garage and saved $150.

I like the color, it looks more expensive than it really is.

Well the size and wattage were important and reliability based on reviews. Cons:...no timer(just a digital clock), interior light isn't bright enough to see what's cooking. Neither of those is a deal breaker though. Pro's:.. Size, watts, easy clean interior, no timer(girlfriend blew up the last microwave) by mistakenly setting the microwave cook time instead of the timer. I'll fix that mistake with this purchase(no timer).

Beautifully built. It's very spacious inside and is user friendly. The only thing that can get annoying is having to select the power percentage before setting the cooking time every time you want to use the microwave feauture. But it prepares a lot faster than my old one.

A small but very capable microwave. Fits great in small space. Looks good. The timer is a bit confusing. You have to actually read the directions on this one. For the price it's a great little microwave.

Heat well, I love the sensor function. The only thing is that the light inside is not bright enough and you can barely see it while it’s heating. Got it at a great price for Black Friday. I’m happy with my purchase !

I purchased this item as it sits on the counter, is not too large and has a stainless steel look. The quality is amazing for the price. No problems with heating and it is easy to use. Highly recommend!

Love it! It did take a few times to get use to it, but very easy after learning. Comfortable with the ability to open the door with a handle as opposed to pushing a button and the door flying open like on other models. Does a great job when heating left-overs, using the vegetable steam bags, and defrosting. The only cons I have is that it is more noisy than other models and the light could be brighter..

This microwave is nice looking and easy to operate. It is small enough to sit on the counter and the wattage is high enough to meet our needs for many of the foods we need to microwave. It is a little noisy sometimes but the greatest aspect is that it has a door handle so we do not have to worry about a plastic broken button inside that makes us have to slam the door to get it to operate as we did with our old Panasonic model that only lasted a few years!

This is a nicely design microwave oven, looks very attractive on the kitchen counter. But it feels like it prioritized form over function, as it is much louder than I expected, and the outer shell seems to vibrate. Placing a container on top of the microwave makes the noise and vibration go away, but its something that should be right coming out of the box. I haven't noticed it heating significantly more evenly than any other microwave...

We needed to replace our microwave and I found this during Black Friday. The price was great and the size fit what we needed. The controls can be a bit confusing and the dial does not allow for fine-tuning of microwaving time. However, if you just need a microwave to heat up left-overs, this one can't be beat.
