Very good on colors and screen resolution. Terrible at holding a stable image on DP 1.4 for true 360 Hz . Using DP.V 1.4 at 360 causes the screen to continuously slide & crop to the right slowly but steadily. Why DP 1.4 causes the drifting crop DP 1.4 @ 1440p 360 Hz must use DSC. On your firmware revision: • DSC loses horizontal pixel alignment • The monitor re-centers itself slowly • Screen Size + Screen Adjustment are locked • NVIDIA resize is blocked • You see the image “crawl” right This is a known Odyssey G6 issue .

I was super stoked about getting this monitor until what I received came broken out of the box. The box itself even had a big hole on the outside from where an object of some sorts pierced through and cracked the screen. The design of the protective packaging (which I assume Samsung is responsible for) was ridiculous to begin with because the monitor faces outwards and the styrofoam design has open slots that expose the monitor, making certain parts just cardboard between the monitors screen and the cardboard. Yeah, well long story short I tried to exchange it for the exact same monitor (just one that wasn’t damaged…) and they refused to let me do that. I spent the better part of two weeks speaking to best buy reps and driving all over to different Best Buy locations to just be stuck with this broken screen. Oh and on top of that when i went into one of the stores the cashier thought it wouldn’t be an issue to exchange and she started to unpack the box for then to tell me that they couldn’t exchange it because the purchase wasn’t in their system. Mind you I purchased it from that store the NIGHT BEFORE. And to top it all off the monitor stand was never put back in the box when she took everything out, so I contacted the store many times asking if I could come get my stand at the very least….. to which I heard absolutely nothing. By far the worst customer service and purchasing experience I’ve had in my entire life. Do yourself a favor and stay far far away from Best Buy. It’s a complete joke of an establishment now, nothing even close to the store I used to love.

DO NOT purchase this monitor! I failed to do any in-depth research prior to buying this monitor, and I am sorry that I didn't because I am out 800 bucks now. This monitor was purchased less than six months ago and has sat on my desk the entire time. It has never been dropped, hit, or damaged in any sort of way. Other than the now broken power button that I have, this monitor is in mint condition. If you do a little bit of research, you will see that many buyers have experienced the power button cracking. There are reviews here on Best Buy website as well as other places on the internet. Do your research! Best Buy sent me to Samsung and said that it has a three-year warranty, but Samsung refuses to fix it. I spoke with three different supervisors and they all told me the same thing – it's physical damage and it's not covered. Consider yourself warned.

Ive had this for almost 2 months. The power button in the back already broke. I dont even turn my monitor off. I decided to this morning and its broken cheap piece of plastic. I called samsung and its not covered by the warranty. Now if i need to adjust picture setting or turn monitor on and off easily i cant very disappointed coming from samsung.

The 360hz is impressively smooth, and the monitor works well for certain action games. Sadly quality is very poor quality for text and other high contrast blocks/elements due to the purple/reddish fringe that appears at the bottom of elements on the screen. I had to return this monitor the same day because it is unusable for coding due to bad text rendering in Windows 11. The matte coating on the display is pretty good, especially compared with my ASUS M16 laptop's LCD panel.

I realize many people are buying this monitor and upgrading from a much older LCD panel, and are being blown away by the inherent qualities of a QD-OLED, but as someone who has made the rounds with many different OLEDs in the last 2 years, I am here to tell you that you should take your money elsewhere, preferably to a better QD-OLED. The monitor I owned before this one was an Asus 360h QD-OLED for only $50 more than the current $699 price tag of this thing. But I'll avoid making direct comparisons to another model here and instead tell you about features that should exist that you do NOT get: You get almost no control over your screen protection features. No adjusting the pixel cleaning, no pixel refresh at all, being stuck instead with the long form Panel Refresh in the settings menu and nothing else. Instead, the monitor is supposed to run a refresh whenever you turn it off (no reminder given) but this refresh takes more than twice as long as it does on other displays. Most OLEDs I've owned perform a pixel cleaning in 7 or 8 minutes. This one takes 15 to 20 minutes. You can't adjust the pixel shifting, you have none of the other features that other monitors implement, I could go on forever but instead lets get to the actual display QD-OLED is divine by nature. The colors are fantastic and you get deep inky blacks. But you can get those anywhere. The standout for Samsung's implementation is their anti glare coating, which I can't find a good reason to like. It kills any sense of "pop" you get from other OLEDs no matter what your lighting conditions are, and more than that, it darkens your perception of a display that already isn't that bright to begin with. It does make the monitor easier to clean than its siblings but it does absolutely nothing for the image quality. If you really can't control any aspect of your room setup this coating may work for you. For anyone else, stay far away. The settings on this monitor are a mixed bag. You can't fine tune it as much as you would think, the Peak Brightness settings fluctuate between too much and not enough, brightness only operates between 0 and 50 instead of 0 and 100. The entire OSD is dated and slow to navigate. I do like the overall design of this monitor, and it's a breath of fresh air compared to the usual "thin glass with a box on the back" but the power brick for this thing is massive and the cable management is laughably bad considering the pricetag for this display. I've gotten better cable management on monitors that cost one fifth of this one. I will reiterate: QD-OLED is amazing. So you'll get some benefits of that from this monitor but I urge you to get a QD-OLED panel from a different manufacturer.

I haven't owned the monitor for a year and the power button literally just crumbled. The repair was not covered by warranty. Im stuck to pay 422 repair bill on a 700 dollar monitor. You've been warned!

Be Cautious when shopping for expensive things here, i recently bought a gigabyte aorus masters 5090, turns out someone swapped it with a regular version, i tried to take it back but they kept insisting i swapped it, i asked to see the recent history on the item and apparently the card that I bought supposively “new” was actually purchased before and returned, when I asked about camera footage apparently when they accepted the return they never opened the box to see if the original card was inside, they said that because the tape was still on they didn’t feel the need to check, as if someone cant just put another piece of tape to close the box, whatever they are doing at this location is illegal and they need a more professional way to check returns and keep track of their product, even the managers were extremely rude to me and kept insisting that I swapped the card when in reality they accepted a bad return and decide to transfer the cost to me, I hope this location chooses to actually follow their return guidelines next time and anytime I purchase something I am going to open it up right in front of them before even walking out the door with it, completely ridiculous how these people treated me even though they accepted a bad trade and decided to list a sold item as new, its irresponsible and unprofessional, now I am out 3k and have a graphics card that Isn’t what I purchased

Brand new and starts to make bubble underneath the screen in fits 3 days if that. I went though 3 OLED monitors like that and had to settle with an MSI 300hz monitor that has worked great

Came out the box with purple screen haze when off. When trying to set up for a new years lan party screen would not power on immediate return the next day should have went with msi mpg or asus line of Oled displays.

I bought this on 5/12. It’s now 6/18 and the monitor completely shut off, wouldn’t turn on and now just flickers. I use it on xbox. Maybe it’s just bad luck but it’s my first OLED and my last for awhile. Going to use my warranty and get a new one tomorrow. I’ve been gaming for 20 years and have never had this issue. I’m glad the Best Buy associate told me to get the extra warranty due to it being an OLED monitor

Another trash product of Samsung! Colors out of the box look worse than a TN monitor! It has a yellow tinge to it in warm1 and other modes are very very blue! I tried to manually calibrate but it’s not good. My old ips displays better colors. I don’t think this is defective as there are many who report this on Reddit. Also it has no remote and the interface is is very outdated. This isn’t acceptable at this price point. Also the vrr flickers a lot. Most reviews are sponsored by Samsung so don’t beleive those. Why do you think Samsung puts this on sale at sometimes for $650 because it’s a trash product.

This monitor is going to be about 400$ in about 6 or less months maybe im nitpicking but personally it is not worth 900$ last year the big thing was 1440p and it was just about this expensive, its not 200$ on amazon. I would say wait about a year and all oled monitors are going to be half the price they are now
