I wanted to write this review as my honest opinion and experience with the Samsung Odyssey G6 monitor and Samsung’s Care Team. I purchased my monitor on September 30th after seeing a few displays in store at Best Buy. It was the most reasonably priced with beautiful picture quality. I was also looking for a high refresh rate that my Xbox Series S supported and this checked the box. The overall picture quality is great. The monitor has an LED ring light in the back that just makes a gamers corner look awesome. The issue: the power button/jog button. After 3 months of owning the monitor, the power button crumbled. Legit just broke. I didn’t do anything excessive to cause this. Do yourself a favor and look at ALL the Reddit reviews and even complaints from consumers on the Samsung Forum. This is a flawed design. The power button/jog button is the monitors primary button to alternate between the HDMI inputs, modify display settings and power on and off. Mine not only broke but stopped functioning. SAMSUNG WOULDN’T COVER IT! Although only 3 months old, Samsung refused to cover the issue, citing it as “physical damage.” So my only option was to pay out of pocket and ship it to them for additional fees to repair. Third party’s cannot fix it because Samsung does not have parts for sale and many places such as UBreakIFix are contracted specifically NOT to work on their devices. Samsungs Care Team was absolutely horrible. AVOID SAMSUNG IF YOU CAN! Alternatively, LG ULTRAGEAR and ASUS ROG have better support

Bought the monitor and used it for about 5 hours. Went to take a break and thrned off the display and i was warned beforehand that a pixel refresh will run. I came back an hour later and after a turned it on, there was a line of stuck pixels that was very noticeable. The panel also had very bad and almost unbearable image retention from the first hour that used it. Text look as if it was from a 720p monitor. The motion quality was amazing but that was the only good thing i could find about it other than the build quality. Returned it the very next day. Would not buy it again

First few days I was amazed at how smooth it was…but then on the 3rd day it started to show dead pixels. I tried all the different methods to see if it would fix but it wouldn’t.

This monitor literally has some of the worst graphics rate is nice but how are you supposed to tell the refresh rate when you can’t even see what you’re looking at in saying that it is a nice monitor for the hardware that it does have inside of it for configurations on the screen itself nice monitor for somebody that has somewhat good vision but wanting a lot of frames

First one I bought had bad coil whine. Both suck in everything, but the picture quality. Everything looks good, but the OSD menu is garbage, the monitor struggles to connect to the PC when turning on or off, and is generally a buggy mess. Massively disappointed considering it's like 4x the cost of a normal monitor.

Definitely one of the better monitors I've ever used until the back power/menu button broke off. It became almost impossible to change inputs and then the screen just started to cut in and out. Loved the first 7 months using this before this issue started. Theres no warranty, so a $400 repair is not worth it. Save your future dollars and spend it elsewhere.

2560x1440p < 1080p High Refresh ( no gimmicks ) Not a big fan of the monitor. Colors could be better. OSD lacks options. OSD seems outdated.

Get the MSI and don't take a chance on this thing with the poor build quality of the menu button. Also my last Samsung monitor crapped out way too early.
