I purchased this Samsung range brand new, and after less than 2 months of normal household use, the stainless steel finish became permanently discolored. The appliance was cleaned only with water, a soft cloth, and standard household dish soap, which is normal and reasonable for any kitchen appliance. No abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals were used on the stainless steel. Samsung classified this as “cosmetic damage” and refused to honor the warranty, despite the product being nearly new. A technician was scheduled, but Samsung already stated they will not cover the issue. A premium appliance should not deteriorate under basic cleaning, and customer support has been extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this product due to poor material quality and lack of warranty support.

Kimandtim Posted
So far, I cannot say anything good. I got the stove on Monday, today is Wednesday, first time I used it, I cooked pasta and the burner scratched, not sure how, and bubbled. I sat my stainless steel pot on the burner, did not move it, the bottoms of my pans are smooth, lifted it straight up, sat the pot on the counter and the scratch was there. I'm an avid cook, love to cook from scratch. Not sure this stove would have survived a homemade meal if it can't boil water and cook pasta without being damaged. The other burner I put a small stainless pan on, threw in some butter, garlic, oregano, tossed in some grilled chicken I'd made Monday out on the grill and had it on low just to get everything warmed enough for the chicken fettuccine, I made myself. Turned the burner off poured the contents into my spaghetti bowl put the pan in the sink. I look at my stove and under the surface it looks like there are bubbles. I've had flat tops before, I've used these same pans on them and they did not scratch. I even used my cast iron on them and no damage at all. I know not to move the pan, move the food inside the pan or pot. That's what I did but either this is a very cheap made stove or I got a very defective one. CS offered me a small gift card if I would just keep it, umm no. I upgraded all of appliances to stainless and I don't want a peeling tacky looking stove as my center piece!!! This better be made right and have a guarantee it won't happen when this is replaced or I'll keep sending them back.

Loved it while it lasted. Had range for less than 3 months before the oven stopped working. Heats up, but won't hold at temperature, temp drops at least 70 degrees. Called Samsung, had me recalibrate. Didn't work. Called again, sent tech who said the sensor was faulty. Still didn't work. Called again...I need a working oven, which is what I paid for. They want to send someone again! No!! I paid for a brand new, working oven. Not one to be pieced together. I've loved Samsung, but will never buy another one. Still waiting on a call from the escalation team. We'll see what happens!

I have this cooking range for now a year and I absolutely hate it. I thought it was me however with a year experience I can say it is a horrible stove. The water boil time varies from one day to the next, and theres no way to calibrate it. We now have a saying that the stove has ran away as in you can put it on the lowest setting and it would not shut off or go to a lower temperature. I cook now as turn the stove on and one it gets to a temp I turn it off and just cook off the residual heat, and this will be on the low setting. But heres the other frustration is that other days it will work fine. I have reached out about this with time measurement and video recordings without any response back to help. Seriously if you like to cook with a stove top dont buy this you'll hate cooking pasta buy the end of the year.

About 6 months after purchase, the oven stopped heating properly. It preheats and then slowly loses the temperature and does not come back on. We have had 4 service calls and several major parts replaced. Our 5th service call is scheduled for next week. Samsung will not honor our request for a new unit. Meanwhile, we have been without an oven for 2 months.

Your opinion of your range is important to us. Brooke.
Whether your oven is too hot, not hot enough, takes too long to get hot, or doesn't get hot at all, it can cause many issues. Luckily, you can do some simple things to try to fix it. Many heating issues are related to the voltage.

I bought this oven 14 months ago and all the letters on the control panel along with the numbers have disappeared. This is a defect in their control panel - I have only used water to clean it. They will not replace or help me. Do not buy this oven.

Hi Tinker,
Thank you for purchasing this Samsung range model 14 months ago. We understand your point of view about numbers and lettering on the control panel disappearing.
The vent for your oven is next to the control panel. So, when the oven is in use, the control panel will get warm. Over time, the markings may get removed especially when they get wiped with a dry/wet cloth.

The range is very beautiful and has some great features HOWEVER the food inside the oven will NOT cook all the way through. The top will be golden brown but the bottom will be raw and uncooked. The oven only has one heating coil unit at the top there isn't one at the bottom. I wouldn't recommend anyone to purchase this range. I will be returning and purchasing a GE.

Do not buy this garbage. It will not hold temperature after preheating. I have had Samsung technicians come twice and it’s still not holding temperature. The temperature drops 70-80 degrees in about 15 minutes unless I constantly preheat it again.
