The poor rating is for the Best Buy Deliveries, updates and install! This stove has been on back order for almost 8 weeks. I notification i received from their delivery app was a technician will be there in 20 minutes, log story short, no one arrived all day! Second update from driver app: technicians will arrive between 12:30 to 1:45, long story short, no one arrive due to technition went home in the meantime ive gotten update that my stove is on backorder.. Finally rhe day is here! I get my stove! Same technician as my last 2 deliveris on other appliances. I see they brought my stove in and set up.....they left....the next day i was cooking, and o tol my huband that this stove was not leveled and if he could do it...time went by it wasnt leveled I dropped something behind stove, so i moved it out only to find ALL THESE DENTS! The Technician never said one word to us about them! BEST BUY states there is nothing they can do since I'm not making a service call!!!!!

Store delivered first one defective. Delivered 2nd one damaged. Did not install safety bracket. Disgusting customer service. Wont even call us back to discuss further just set up a date to pick it up.

The range worked well enough for our needs until a year after purchase. My wife was heating up some soup in a pot when she smelled a strong burning odor in the house after 5 minutes. When she came down to the kitchen it was full of smoke coming from the range. She quickly moved the pot off the cooktop and saw the smoke was coming from the burner. It had melted the bottom of the pot! Upon moving the pot though it cracked the glass. Samsung nor Best Buy would help replace the unit. Samsung flat out refused. After six weeks and three third party techs being sent out during that time to assess the range, I finally got a definitive no from Best Buy about any exchange. Samsung's customer service was horrible throughout as they did not want to take any responsibility stating we had purposely damaged the range. The attached photo will show where the pot melted unto the glass. I had found other customers posted online similar issues. Will definitely never buy another Samsung appliance. If it wasn't for the six-week runaround they gave me, I might feel different.

Was very excited to get this! The convertable oven was a big selling point along with the multiple burner options and hot plate option. Stove worked great at first, then the burners started acting up. If something was on low, it would suddenly go to high and burn whatever we were cooking! The multi burner seemed to only have 1 setting: turbo! Great for boiling water, but not much else (that burner died completely after about 6 months). Oven still works good though. We called for service (which is done by Sears?) and after 3 failed (no show) attempts to get it looked at, Samsung said they’d give us a new one, however, they can’t get us one for about 3 months! Can’t just go to Best Buy and get a new one? Nope! Best Buy did their part perfectly. Our beef is with Samsung.

Two weeks after receiving this range there are scratches and bubbling on the cooktop. Samsung will not acknowledge the defect and says it’s a cosmetic issue. I guess their ranges are expected by Samsung to be ugly. I owned my Electrolux electric range for 11 years and never had a scratch or bubbling in the glass and I cook using many different types of cookware often. Very disappointed in the quality, hopefully Best Buy will rectify this situation. I do not recommend this stove and Samsung has terrible customer service.

Both the range top and oven seem to only work at max heat. Even in I set the stove to low, the main burner just scorches everything. The oven is just as bad, we will try to set the temp to 5o degrees less than what the recipe calls for and take the food out several minutes early, but it's still burned. The rolls in the photo cooked for 8 minutes with the oven set to bake at just 300 degrees. The recipe called for 350 degrees for 12 minutes. Hoping Samsung's warranty process will provide a fix.

I recently bought this stove and the glass top looks like this after frying one time. I had my last stove for 20 years and the glass top didn’t look this way. It also takes long to boil water compared to my old Maytag oven.

I purchased this range for the dual oven feature. There is one oven dorr that will open just the top oven or open the full door for both ovens. If you have something in the bottom oven that you want to check, the top oven is opened at the same time. In order to use the air fryer function, you need to remove the divider for the dual oven. This air fryer is the most used feature so the divider is usually removed. Aside from the features, the stove experienced an issue with the control panel. The button from the oven light was not working and the ability to enter a specific temperature would only take the first 2 digits and not register the 3rd digit. Today was the 4th service appointment for the same issue. The control panel has been replaced 3 times. It will work after the repair for about a week and then the same problem will appear again. The service agent said that he will recommend the stove being replaced due to the repeated repairs for the same issue, but also stated his recommendation has been denied before. I am a Total Tech customer. The first 2 repairs were free. The 3rd repair cost $99 even though it was the same issue to the change in Total Tech to My Best Buy Total. I am very disappointed with this range and hopeful that it will be replaced as it is still under warranty.

We bought Samsung appliances three years ago: a fridge, a double oven range and microwave. We’ve already spent $300 on repairing the refrigerator, replaced the microwave, and had Samsung replace a faulty temperature sensor while unit was under warranty. Most disturbing is that the temperature sensor failed again recently and I contacted Samsung because our house filled with smoke and I was alarmed at the significant fire hazard risk to us and fellow unsuspecting consumers. In fact, if you do a Google search, you will see that there is a class action lawsuit out there for the same problem. When I first called Samsung, I was optimistic that they were going to take responsibility for this issue, but I am horrified to report that they are tech came out and reported an infestation in our unit as the cause of the problem. There is absolutely no infestation. We tried using the oven because the Samsung tech said it was safe and got a C20 error message. We had another technician come out from a different company and they reported that yes or oven was heating past the set point and that someone unplugged the temperature censor causing the C20 error message. When the tech plugged the temp sensor back in the oven overheated. No infestation. Please see the attached job order from Samsung versus the report from an independent tech today. I was on the phone with Samsung for 45 minutes and they decided that I should have pest control to come out and confirm that there is no infestation and then call them back. I recommended they send pest control to verify the integrity of their technician. Nope. Can’t do it because infestations are not covered by warranty, I’m sure they use that diagnosis quite a bit. I’m super disappointed. Samsung had the best features, but has not been worth the money at all. The safety issue is the biggest dealbreaker for me.

I purchased the Samsung gas oven Model NX60A6311SS about a year ago and have only used the oven a handful of times. Despite the light use, the oven glass suddenly exploded, sending shattered tempered glass all over my kitchen floor and inside the door. It was loud, shocking, and extremely dangerous. This was not due to misuse or impact—just normal use. The entire inner and outer glass panel shattered spontaneously, and I’m thankful no one was injured. Never buy Samsung, They make junk.

This is truly a terribly designed product. I bought it because I have a small kitchen and I love to cook, so I was attracted to the double oven feature as well as the air fryer option. However, none of the reasons I initially purchased this actually work efficiently or are remotely rationally designed. The air fryer function only works when you remove the oven divider (which is cumbersome). So it's not like you can pop your morning breakfast muffin in the air fryer and go about your day -- you have to find a large clean suface to set the oven divider on and then put it back?? Not convenient. Additionally, if you're using the double oven feature, both of your dishes are going to burn if cooking to your normal recipes' bake times. The heating elements are too close to the racks, so you have to keep an eye on them. Again, not convenient especially if you're say...hosting Thanksgiving and that's why you chose this oven to start with. Lastly, the buttons on the range hardly recognize touch. Both when the oven(s) preheat and when the timers go off it plays the longest, most obnoxious song as you're continually having to push the buttons that won't recognize you're pushing them. I truly love to cook. It's one of my great passions, but the sound of this oven have the shrill effect of a screaming baby. I really wish I saved myself the money (and the hassle) and bought a base-model. I tried to exchange it, but was mistaken on the return window as I'm merely a Best Buy Citi Card Holder and not whatever membership I actually needed according to the customer service representative that said there was nothing she could do for me. Not only will this turn me off of Samsung appliances, but of using my Best Buy credit card in the future. Another lesson in "simplest is best."

Our first oven had to be replaced immediately due to defects. The second replacement had to be replaced a third time due to the oven door dropping and swinging open even when it was very hot. Incredibly dangerous. This third oven replacement we are on now thinks it's in dual mode even when the divider is out of the oven. It also heated the oven up to over 500 degrees while trying to do a slow roast at 250. The stove top heating is uneven. The convection cooking leaves food burned on the outside and raw in the middle. The oven can only conventionally bake when not in the dual mode. The oven door doesn't seal shut and the escaped heat melts the outside of the oven. This oven is one of the most dangerous, unsatisfactory, and frustrating products I've ever used.

Stay away from this stove. Great features but the cooktop is too fragile for everyday use. A pot of sugar syrup boiled over and etched the glass. It is not scratched but etched in. A call to Best Buy told me to call Samsung. The call to Samsung (pictures sent) came back that it was cosmetic and not covered by warranty. Love the convection and dual ovens but absolutely worthless overall if the stovetop can't handle simple syrup spilled on it.

There is something wrong with the temperature control of the oven. The oven automatically switches to “broiling” when on baking mode and scorches everything. I have a toddler in the house and I am terrified of using the oven (with all my love for cooking and baking). Using this oven is like playing russian roulette. We bought this range in January 2023, it started having issues in December 2024. It’s a very short life for a range. Called samsung, paid for service call, waited 2 weeks for appointment just for the technician to look at it and say “Nothing is wrong with it, what can I say “you burned your food”. The type of the issue is a significant FIRE HAZZARD as the oven gets to crazy high temperature within just a few minutes and burns everyhing that’s in the oven - food, bakeware, shattering glassware. Reading reviews I realized that this issue exists in the model, yet somehow this model is not on the recall list.
